Here was my list of stuff for when i did mine

Dupli-color black (or dark color) sandable primer
Dupli-color gloss black paint
Dupli-color Clearcoat (and lots of it)

basically the more clearcoat u use the better.

any other questions?

Look for his^^^ how to, that would be a good start I followed his.

I used sandable primer on my rims and they turned out great. not to mention the sandable primer allows u to kind of work out any imperfections. If/when you do it, just make sure you take your time,.

yea i used duplicolor also... no chips... the job is all in the prep work... pick up some tack wipes, use a good quality tape (if your only doing the spokes), clean EVERYTHING as good as possible

You'd be surprised. You can get powdercoating for pretty cheap, you just have to do research. There's a guy in Winchester VA that does powdercoating for $45 for a rim. 2fastss actually got his done black and they looked really good.

I can do some research on powder coating but last i checked the powder coating places were a tad spendy. Im only keeping these rims till i have enough cash to get new rims and tires so its not a HUGE deal. I think the duplicolor is going to work just fine.
