I think it would be alright, but you should block off the open holes with something in the mean time.... a buddy of mine did this in his pontiac, go to a junk yard and snag a steeringwheel badge out of a caviler... should be a perfect size for the pod. I may even have an extra if you want one let me know.

This is my setup

CA-pillar Triple Gauge Pod with Aeroforce Scan Gauge, Autometer Cobalt Wideband O2 and Mechanical Boost Gauges

I like the CA triple pod color matched. The fitment was great.

where can i find a triple gaugue pod but the same color as the interior of my car so it matches good. my interios is that light tan color on the rally yellow ss sc. its an 07 if anyone can help me out message me any help will be apreciated
