Hell yeah. I'd rock a cf toilet seat. I did a cf DVD case once and I'd do some a TV stand but my girl has an unholy obsession with cherry wood right now so that's out. I wish she shared my love for composites. lol

ok i trimmed it up a little bit. i didn't like how it looked on the engine itself having the silver and then the cf so i decided to dress it up a little bit. i tool some black vinyl and added an outline to the piece. i think this will look sick as soon as i clean the engine compartment and the black will match with it. just waiting for the clear coat to cure. then i'll install and paint the bolts black.

so do i...if i were to ask you to do one for the 2.2..just doing the top of the coil pack...could this be done?? and would it be possible to leave the center empty (or frame it out like you did yours) to leave the "ecotec 2.2l" there??? And how much do you charge for a dash kit....

its honestly not hard....
I toured a company that make c/f and carbon composite parts for planes and they let us do a compete wing panel. Of course, their oven was big enough to walk in and the had this huge machine for the vacuum.

+1

It just takes practice and patience.

Of course, you don't need a big oven if your making CF parts for looks, as structural integrity is meaningless. It's just the actual high strength resin associated with true CF parts that requires such high heat for a significant period of time.

Do you have any installed pics? I think it looks good. You should make more underhood stuff in CF.
