What light bulbs are you using?

just wanted to see what headlight bulbs (stock size 9007, no projectors please!) everyone here is running. I'm running silverstars in my headlights and just picked up a set of the nokya h11's for my projectors. after re-aiming my projectors the new bulbs are bright as hell!! I'm considering getting the nokya's for the headlights now but i'm afraid it will be too blue or the beam will be all over the place because its a little bit higher wattage than stock.

And i do know that running higher than stock wattage isn't the best idea and you could fry your harness but i'm honestly not all that worried about that. If it happens, i'll re-wire and get projectors and HID.

So, show me what you got?

I used to have them, they were awful for visibility but looked great. Now I have 8000K HID's

I have been using the silverstar ultras for about 2 weeks now, and i like them. Good visibility, and they look extreamly white compared to stock. I want new fog lights now, cause they look yellow compared to the ultras. Any suggestions on fogs? I dont mind a bluish tint, in fact, I prefer a bluish tint.

I know what you mean... i have the ultras as well and im very happy with them. I just wish that they made them in h-11 as well. I was thinking of going with yellow H-11's but i dont know what's realiable.

I'm using Nighthawks. They're ok, better than stock, but not by a lot! I ordered the NGA Projectors so...........Maybe HIDs after that!!!

Stock foggies as well. I really don't drive at night, as I work in the morning, so I'm sleeping during the "dark hours"

Yea, it sucks that there are no h11 silverstars, but i cant even find any "cool blue" h11's at my local shops. I dont personally like the yellow fogs (too JDM style for me), but it looks like I will be ordering online.

I got the silverstars and they are a good amount brighter than the stockers, but I am probably gonna upgrade to a HID kit.

I was about to post about this subject. I have an 06 and I keep blowing headlights. I dont know if its just crappy cheap headlings or something more. I bought them from the local Rice shop but I think they do good work, on mini trucks mostly but still. The brand is Verox Xenon white 9007. Its really pissen me off replacing them tards every 3 months

I just installed some Silverstars in mine. Much brighter then the stockers and they dont have that ugly yellow tinge.

I have used silverstars in all of my cars... and they are IMO the best bang for the buck. I am using the stockers as of now, but once they fade a bit, I am thinking of trying the ultras.

hella makes some very nice H11s I believe.

I bought silverstars before i went projector...
and in all honesty it was a waste of money

there was at BEST a 5% different in lighting.
Our stock headlights are actually a pretty decent performer.

I have the 9007 Silverstar's. Side by side with the factory lights they are a little bit whiter, But if you were looking at them from the outside of the car, and didn't know they were changed, I don't think you could tell the difference! While driving there a little bit better, but not that much. The only thing i was impressed with were the brights, and there pretty damn good!!

For the fog lights, I just bought OSRAM SYLVANIA H11's. But now that I think about it, I'm pretty damn sure there basically just the same as whats in right now! I guess I'll find out when they get here though.

I put my ultra's in last night....i like them. They are much whiter than stock and seem to light the road pretty well. I got mine off ebay for $25 a set (I got 2, one for me and one for the gf's car). I wish they had them for the fogs...i guess i'll have to see if I can find something that is whiter for the fogs...maybe automotivelightingusa has something.
