Why not a CF bumper if you guys are thinking of doing the fenders?

 

I'm not really sure that's possible, I think some of you guys are thinking way too far outside the box

 

I would be down for that but just don't know what style we would turn into CF.

and a time attack lip kit wouldnt be bad either, nor would the OEM fenders

your best bet is probably with a super clean looking lip kit..
possibly lightweight fenders depending on price..
or maybe cf mirror caps depending on price..
uhmm... idk a clean "mesh" upper grille assembly would be pretty sweet (something that replaces the stock grille not just go over it)

 

Do the Cobalts have a detachable grill? like the center piece where the Chevy logo sits? Or, is that part of the bumper?

CF interior trim pieces? CF grills with a matching lower grill to protect FMHE's?

 

it's all part of the bumper cover except for the grey plastic insert piece that padlock posted

 

Ooooo I like that idea. I doubt ED does that stuff though. Something like what the new vettes have would be sweet.

see i was thinking a grille like this, but there is still that lip around the edges too (its hard to notice).. you could do that in cf if you wanted. idk the interest in something like this cuz alot of ppl are happy with their ss/tc grilles.. but just an idea

Carbon fiber mirror covers (to replace the painted covers) is something I could see a lot of people buying, especially if they were reasonably priced at say $25-$40 for the pair.
