Try truck soap if GooGone doesn't work. I couldn't get the glue from the bowtie off the back of mine with GooGone for the life of me. Truck soap took it right off.

I've used "citrussolve", and it worked well on another car. The only problems I've seen was that the stuff had a tendency to soften the clear coat, so I let it sit a few days after I removed the emblem before I polished/waxed the paint coat. Goo gone can be the same way - it can leave a bit of dull behind, and you'll be tempted to try to clean it right up with some wax, but don't - wash the spot off thoroughly, then wait a day before you wax, so the residual solvents in the goo gone can flash out of the finish.

Don't know if its absolutely true with the new-tech paints on the Cobalts, but better safe than sorry.

I used simple green. Just don't use too much or you'll end up eating the clear coat off the car.

the Dupont 3919s is better...its made for that, does not affect the clear coat at all. Been working in a body shop for over 5 years, and its what I use daily on cars with no probs at all...it also works well as a degreaser, gets tar and **** off fast

I'll loan you my next door neighbor's dog. You gotta hold him a little high to reach the badges, but once a few shots of his **** hits your badges, they'll melt off.

Don't know what they're feeding that damn dog.
