Aftermarket body kits and big aftermarket wings are typically rice as well as autozone pedals and shift knobs and underglow.

 

I think over painted dashes are rice. Most after market gauges. Those little paste on fender vents. (dont act like you don't know what I'm talking about) most after market hoods. (excluding oem carbon fiber) any rim over 18 inches. Extremely loud cheap exhausts. Ghetto autozone mad cold air intakes.

 

Rice = Race Inspired Cosmetic Enhancement... IE: Anything that LOOKS like it's for racing but provides no real improvement.

Rice can still be nice though, for example Skyline tail lights don't do jack **** but I love them anyway

Anything that is stock that came on your car (high rise spoiler) is not rice. Some people even debate if painted bowties and tinted tails are rice. (I Think both look nice)
Powder-coated stock wheels=NICE. HID IN HALOGEN=RICE.. HIDS ARE ONLY MENT FOR REAL PROJECTOR LIGHTS. Loud ass exhaust on a 4 cylinder= RICE.
All you need is a catless DP and its sounds perfectly loud.

Why? I dont know, it cost a crap load, and lightens the car.

IMO, almost any body kit for the cobalt besides the SS kit looks bad.

Kinda off topic but going back to the wing, i know it has nothing to do with how its attached but if you ever looked in your rear view mirror and watched your stock high rise spoiler while on the highway, the thing looks like its going to blow off. 4 bolts and a **** load of glue to hold that sucker down and my spoiler on my truck is only held on by 2 10mm bolts and thats it and the thing is sturdy as ****. No movement ever.

Are you retarded? If the wing does indeed create some downforce, it aides in stability. Just because the car is FWD, doesnt mean it wont benefit from downforce.
