Wheel covers?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/15-Ch...Q5fAccessories

Does anyone have a picture of a Cobalt (base) with these covers?
The look of the stock wheel covers has grown on me, but I want something a little more standoff-ish without looking stupid. I tossed around the thought of just getting nice new rims, but I decided that I would be better off to go with some simple wheel covers until my car is paid off and I'm no longer a poor college kid
Any suggestions for some wheel covers that look nice on a red Cobalt coupe?

those look a little cheap, but alot better than some other ones I've seen, you could always black out your existing hubcaps in the meantime, or just run steelies...

05LSCobalt you totally ignored the fact that I explicitly stated my reasoning for NOT dropping the cash on rims right now.

black-balt,
I'm not a big fan of red and black :S
Also, I agree on the cheapness. I especially dislike the fact that they are not held on by the lugs like the factory covers and they also seem to stick out further.

Not worth the 60 bucks (I am including shipping).

1) They look cheap... something like you would find at walmart. I can bet the "Chrome" won't last that long.

2) Those use a ring system to hold them on (The ring exerts pressure on the lip of your steel wheels). This system is HORRIBLE, hence why GM doesn't use it, instead electing top use the screw on dust caps to hold their covers on. You WILL lose these hubcaps easily.

In other words, keep the stock covers... if you must dress them up, paint them. Just save the money for rims... its not like you cannot get a decent set for a low price... I got my MSW's for 80 bucks/wheel.

I want to.. but.. whoever had the car before me took excellent care of the interior and paint but was apparently very bad at parallel parking. There are deep scratches on three of the four covers all around the edge and further in which really takes away from the appearance of the car. I was thinking about painting them, but I have had bad luck in the past with durability after painting plastic items. I figured I may as well try to find some nice aftermarket ones instead of buying stock again, but you think I should just stick with stock?

i'd rather take off them off if they're scratched up than buying new ones.

Just grab a cheap thing of bondo and smooth out the scratches and sand it smooth before painting. I did that to great success on my 95 Grand Am's hubcaps when I still owned that piece of crap.

You guys have LS's if you really need wheels bad, search craigslist and you will find 100's of wheels in 4x100 for cheap. So many Honda kids sell wheels cheap.
