Wheel Locks...

I have wheel locks on my SS/SC, but i dont recall ever receiving a wheel lock tool, would it be included in the spare tire kit? or will the dealer have this only... did anyoen else receive a tool with their locks?

then go check man. lol. but i would assume that they must it put it somewhere. what happend if ugot a flat you knwo? it might actully be possible that its like on a lil wire attached to the lug wrench. but if u dont got one id say go to the dealership and makes sure u get one

wow u need the tool if u ever need to change them lol, that sucks, i ordered myne and it came with a card that you register if you ever loose the tool to unlock the lock, you can get a replacement, go bitch at your dealer

i didnt exactly order it, the dealer did an ontario wide search for cobalt ss' and we foudn one fully loaded located about 30 min away, so we went to go pick it up and what not, and it just so happened to have wheel locks, but ya, i didnt get anything for them?

Wheel locks do not come on cobalts, SS or not, a dealer put them on and if you did not get the key then it is sitting in a desk at one of the dealers you dealt with. Better track it down and get it. If you get a flat (knock on wood) just call roadside assistance and have it towed or flat bedded somewhere and now it's GM's problem to get the key for you.

They are just like car keys and remotes, they are "all" different. If you walk around long enuf you will find another car with the same key or remote but the chances are so slim i would run out and buy a lotto ticket if you ever found a match.

this may seem obvious, but the dealer left my mom's wheel lock key in the glove box in the packaging that it came in.....
