Where To Put My Front License Plate?
hey jp, I saw a pretty cool idea where to put it before... someone attached a mount to the rad and then mounted it onto that, just in front of the rad but behind the bumper. You would of course have to remove your lower grill...
I'll try and find that pic for you.

[QUOTE=DC52NV;2071519]what part of cali do you live in? cops here will still write you a fix it ticket. my bud told the officer that he didn't have any holes to mount it. officer offered to punch some holes w/ his pen if he needs help.
i live close to the mexican border... nobody really hassles with stuff like that but they are crackin down pretty hard on illegal exhaust... but yeah nobody really drives around with the front liscence plate down here

I would just put in back where it belongs so you don't have to deal with being pulled over. That just gives them an excuse to do it!
I put a bc2 body kit on my car and got pulled over for not having the liscense displayed. They told me to attach it and that when i got to court they will let me off. I dont want to drill into the bumper cause its fibreglass so i decided to use some double sided extra strength foam tape. It loooks great and the plate has been on for nearly 6 months. Snow, rain, wind...the plate is on solid. If you plan on taking the plate off though be prepared to repaint the part where the plate was though
Not sure if there is enough room or not but maybe it could fit in the lower grille area? That or maybe make a custom grille by cutting the middle bracket out of the bumper and then mount it to the grille. Both of these idea are going to restrict airflow but thats the only idea i can come up with that is still legal the doesnt involve drilling holes into the bumper
mount it to one side so it doesnt restrict airflow. It'd put it on the passangeer side.

Here is what i did. Its held in to the metal bar behind the bumper and comes out. kinda like the one they sell, but i made mine out of scrap metal i had lying around. And yes, i will be taking it off to clean it and paint it.
