12k is absolutely worthless. You start to lose vision after 10k.

 

12k is badass i had 14k on my balt.... they weere purple and i loved em.... still an improvement over stock, mine were 89.99 back in 05

even those were more visible than stock..... youll be fine with 12k... most ppl that say that u wont havent tried em and just go off other ppls words.... not sayin the other dude is, just sayin i have alot of experiance with HIDs, installed maybe 15-20 sets

I have 10K and they aren't as bad as everyone says.

 

get 6K literally the brightest headlights u can get, anything above is just for tht purple look. the 6ks have tht purple blink from the cutoff line.

12k is prety rediculous, i hate them actually... idk why i just do... why the *** would u want blue headlights lol.

10K is just a really bright blue. Not the most visible light, but it's a good combination of function and appearance.

 

i had 12 ks...8 k is where u wanna be if u want some nice colour, yet at the same time not looking like an idiot...i will never go back to 12's again

 

well i just put them on and i love my 12k hey light up the road pretty good i compared it to my friends 6k no differnece

are they in ur stock headlights?

 

i have 30 motha f-in k hids. ftmfw!! hella glare but i dont carei got them for 180

I'm looking into HIDs as well. Still haven't decided on what kit I want. Probally a Vision 8k kit most likely.

30,000K is not green. Not true 30,000K that is. Pretty much anything above 10,000K should be bluish or purple if truly that high of a color temperature. Anything that's green or pink is actually showing a lower color temp than advertised, just with a different wavelength.

You can clearly see that the scale doesn't even come close to touching visible green light.
