I wouldn't recommend setting up any tents, or any camping equipment in general on your windows.

Never heard of 2%. 5% is pretty dark, you can barely see in during daylight. I have it on my 97 Jimmy and 99 Cavy

I have never seen 2% either for some reason i've seen 2.5% (two and a half).

If you want to tint your windows thats cool but depending on where you live and how you drive expect to get s**t from cops about window tint. I've only gotten 30% or i think it was 25% (Not sure) and at night i had a h**l of a time seeing out my windows. I might get my windows tinted again but a nice light shade.

yeah, all states have different rules, and in NY, 70% on the front windows is what they r from the factory... i've had 35% on my front doors and 20% on the back windows on all my cars and never been stopped for it... i can't believe people get darker than 35% on the front and can actually see out at night...

It also deppends on how you are taking it or say it..

30% of light coming thro == 70% of darkness on the tint....

It's basicly a nice smoke or a bit darker which is nice

the number is always the percentage of light that can pass thru... 5% limo tint lets only 5% of light thru, might as well paint them black... 100% would be clear... most of the GM cars i've seen are 70% from the factory on the windshield and other windows, while the trucks with the dark windows are anywhere between 18% and 25%...

I am planning on putting up a 6 person dome tent in my Cobalt. In Maryland you can only have a 4 person tent in the car legally but it's not like I am gonna get pulled over for going a little over the limit.

imo opinion window tint is a must have on any car.

as far as surgury's i kinda feel ya on that, not 21 but 5 when i was no more than 2 years old. if youve made it so far through 21 surgury's you'll live a great life man. hope all is well bro.

Im all for the tint, probably something light (like 50%) all around, im not one to care about **** from cops..since i've really never got any.
As for underlights I dont care either, in NY and Cali its the same laws, not on while driving but you can have them parked, my freinds use to roll into parking lots with them on and cops there, they never really cared, as long as your not on the highway lol.

I don't thing it's legal (in any state?) to tint the windshield. That becomes a safety issue...
