Windshield Sun Tint Strip
Windshield Sun Tint Strip
This picture is of my old honda civic. This was my first car and now my cobalt is the second. I have a red base coupe cobalt. I have all the windows tinted except my windshield. I was wondering if anyone has any pictures of their cobalt with a sunstrip. I'm not sure if I should do it or not. I want my sunstrip as low as the sun strip on my old civic. Any Opinions?

Heres mine, Its a 6" (I think..
) limo strip. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/featured-car-showcase-74/x8xviperx6xs-06-ls-pics-14287/
You can kind of see mine in my sig, it is 5" which is what is legal in Ohio, had to keep part of the tint legal haha, But its not too long and it helps with the sun too, I think as long as you dont go too low itll look sweet
I have a solar strip and a dash strip. The dots around the rearview mirror aren't really a problem like the one's on the back glass. I wouldn't go as low as you did on the Civic. Window tint seems to be a very easy and profitable ticketing violation.
On another note, do please do go below your ASI line. You'll notice that the ASI line from the outside of the car must have been measured from the very top of the glass; from the inside it seems extremely high.

i had my civic for 3 years and was only pulled over three times over tints. I never recieved a ticket for my tints though. Whats the lowest do you think I should on the cobalt? Like 8 or 10 inches?
i tinted my front windshield today. I did 12" down. The only thing I really don't like is I couldn't get the film to stick to those matrix dots. It looks like i have a big bubble in the middle of the windshield. I guess i'm going to have to wait a few days then try to flatten it out.
