Wing hole caps

I was in a thread before and i asked a company to make caps for the wing holes. They said that a member already figured out a solution for this and info would be posted shortly. For some reason i can't find the thread! Has anyone heard anything about this

ha yea i think we all do.. but paying $300-400 isnt worth it... Id be happy with some plugs then when im ready to sell it i can just put the wing back on.

Get some vinyl tape from local hardware store, cut into fun shape, then cover over top.

or

Goto a local machine shop, show them the size of the holes, tell them to make you something to plug them out of aluminum, then get them anodizied. That's what I want to do with mine. Except I am a machinist, I just want to figure out if I just want to make them plain, or do something different...

search junkyards, took me a year and a 3 hour drive one way to get mine. Definately worth it though. Caps/plugs look cheap.

Ok in the autobody would we call them xmas tree clips. You can pick them up at autozone for a few bucks. Paint to match and push them in.

They have a nice smooth top on them. scuff them with a scotch brite and paint to match. This is what i used to plug my front plate holes

wont be ghetto if you cover the hole right and put a lil 3m adhesive on it so it holds in place like the wing is now should be a nice temp fix plus if you want you can go back to your wing also....

i think it will be a nice fix for people who want to go wingless you know how many people are in that wing trading thread?!?!?
