Wing or no wing?

So Im getting my trunk lock shaved off and they gotta take the wing off anyway to paint the trunk...should I take it off or leave it on? Im really torn on it. I dont wanna take it off and hate it then be screwed for putting it back on but I dont wanna leave it on and have to repaint the whole trunk again if I take it off....help me please!

Vic Red, waiting on Enkei EKM3 rims, not lowered cause I will bottom out EVERYWHERE haha, my bumper underneath is already fucked not being lowered. Without the wing does all of **** pile up on your trunk still?

I wouldn't take the wing off if you're not lowered and don't plan on being lowered...

I think it will look tacky w/out the wing..

I may go low but im still not sure. I dunno like I said im torn. The wing is the SS to me, but when its lowered with rims it looks so clean without it

yeah if your not lowered and are not going lowered....dont take it off it doesnt look right off and not lowered....if your lowered have at it!

sucks though if I do lower and I decide to go wingless Ill have to repaint the whole trunk again wont I cause of the holes it will leave?

I'd say go wingless for the time being.
You could always re-drill the holes and install the wing later on, if you wanted.

this is what i would do....look on this site..find all the pics of the wingless or winged and decide for yourself....you will find that this site is pretty much split 50/50 on this subject! do what you want its your car!

haha ya I can tell, I dunno I like it lowered and wingless there arent any that I could find of vic red not lowered with no wing

If ya thinking of lowering soon think of the ca #1 springs. The drop is a tad less then the sportlines and the stance is still good. I'm in the same boat like u in that I don't want to **** up my bumper with the roads here. With regular bumps , no bottoming out. Can go over speedbumps at 25mph. Really good choice for me

I loooooove how it looks but like you said I dont wanna **** **** up haha. Just now without lowering my bumper underneath is scratched to hell it sucks.

Ya Im gonna stick with it I think. How much are those springs cesar? and do you know how much they drop? Hows the handling with them?
