Do you like the sc wing, low-pro wing, or no wing best on the cobalts? I'm trying to decide if I really want to give up my sc wing for a low-pro....

I think the stock bigg ass SS wing is what gives this car its character. Without it people just dont seem to understand what it is. but then again we have people around here claiming they took an SS/SC cause they saw the wing when it was really just a SS/NA . Oh well. KEEP THE BIG ASS WING!

 

Meh, not a fan of the uber wing. Looks to F&F for my tastes, but to each their own. Hey thats why Chevy now has the option of the low wing on the SS/SC cars.

 

The only reason I'm considering getting rid of the sc wing is everyone talks **** about it, and I'm tired of it. Alot of people say its rice, and others say it just doesn't flow with the body at all, and makes the car look dumb.

The SC wing reminds me of those cocky little horses that run around with their tails in the air cause they think they are all bad ass, lol, which isn't a bad thing in my mind, as long as the car has ***** when it gets 'called out'

 

Its not just an "LS" wing like the poll states. Its also on our 2.4SS's!

 

Yeah the big wing does kinda scream "LOOK AT EM!" doesn't it? Hey you'll probly notice less stares from the cops as well!

 

I'm glad they're taking away one of the S's from the 2.4. It's not Super Sport, let alone Supercharged. Sorry people, but u guys aren't even is the same class as an SS/SC. What is it? Almost 40 HP difference at the wheels? That's why you should only be allowed to buy the low-mount spoiler. If you wanted all the options, you bought the wrong car. People around here think they're racing an SC but really it was a 2.4, and it's ruining our rep. Thank God for GM taking that S from you. It is definitely not deserved.

Haha, don't worry I know. Most of the SS/SC people I meet and talk to are more than friendly, except some others that can't even shift are going to complain about clutch slipping and tranny breaking !

Read that thread first dude. Don't come here with only 40 posts and think that you're a part of a majority. If other people think they destroyed an SS/SC and don't know of the SS/NA, that is on them. Grow up. Besides, take your SC of and you're going to have a TON less horsepower. They are naturally aspirated and put out more horses. So...race a turbo 2.4L and get owned...bet you won't be talking too high and mighty then.

Forget them man. I love the wing. We're like peacocks!! Its unique to us and lets everyone know what we are! Since most don't know by THE FREAKING BADGES or by the front and rear bumpers. Let them talk....smile...own them...and point at the wing, "Hey...it owned you!" The show horse tails. In a way it is like that. I LOVE the stock wing though. CF replacements FTW!

Also, the cobalt looks BALD without the wing. The Wing to me flows with the car and compliments the body. The low wing is okay, but it doesn't scream SS/SC like the high mount does.

out of any cobalt i belive the 2.4 has the most potential! if the turbo kit was out for the 2.4 when i bought my ss/sc i would have just bought the ss/na and a turbo!

I love both the tall wing and the short wing. They both look sweet on the cobalt, and with the body kits, it looks mean. But for my car, I want a clean look. Sleeper is my goal. I would like to someday have about 250whp turbo'd. Oh how I would love to see the look on Daves129's face when he sees an LS fly past.
