wingless trunk

I recently found an 05 color matched wingless trunk for my 07 SS. The seller is asking $370 including shipping. What do you think? Is this a good deal? I would have normally just removed the wing myself but the paint under it is a complete mess and it would probably cost as much to get it fixed.

Go to car-part.com. It's a site that sells parts off wrecked cars. Search for wingless trunks in your area to determine if it's a good deal.

If you have a decent set of skills with paint, vinyl, and detailing, you can remove your trunk, claybar, compound wax, detail wax, plug and vinyl cap the holes but it would take a little ingenuity to actually pull it off really clean. Worse case is find out how much it would cost to have it shaved (More permanent) and repainted.
