hey i plan on just doing some simple exterior mods. not a whole ton but is this enough to be considered rice?

-tinted tailights
-black AVS headlights covers
-tinted windows
-black bowties front and back
-stripped cobalt lettering on trunk
-RK sport wing / razzi wing / Tc spoiler / ss-sc wing

and sorry but yes all these will be done before all my performance mods are done. i might get a exhuast before all this is done. definetly before the wing though. the wing is last cause i got no wing now. and wondered what would be the best.


EDIT: ok so if i dont get the ss/sc wing and put an exhaust on like the gmpp performance exhaust, will it be persieved as rice?? cause it sounds louder.

Just dont do the SS/SC wing unless you have an SS please

 

don't get the ss/sc wing, it doesn't look right on the 2.2 i would get one of the others... and if you're going for appearance, you HAVE to get some springs... that would be the first thing I would do

 

i see no reason why any of that would be called rice at all.


but im sure the window licking shortbus riders will be here shortly to tell you
your rice because you spent money on anything that doesnt make you go faster.

personally, i'd leave the spoiler alone.

i'm not huge on the light treatsments, but if you take your time, it's not rice.

If you want to do that, and you do it clean and properly, who cares.

 

dude, **** what people call rice... if you like how it looks, then go for it! in the end, it doesn't matter who says what about your car, as long as you look out the window and it makes you happy.

well ya i know that i like it of course. in the summer im gonna be going to some car shows and i like hearing that it looks good and not "rice" cause its kinda just annoying and i dont wanna be considered a ricer. cause well ive never liked all the trash talk and dissrespect some of the drivers get. like a lot of the guys on here with there ss/sc get riced for the spoiler but they got a beast of a supercharger to blow them away and well...im just a poor 2.2 lol

 

also because im not gonna have rims on my car for a long time. due to i cant afford it.

you could buy rims instead of the spoiler. how much are you looking to buy rims for i have a set on my siver cobalt that i would sell for pretty cheap

 

i want to take a pic of this black ss/sc with those headlight covers down a few stalls.. i think there really cheap he got the AVS ones cause it says it right on there but i think there cheap cuase you have to use or i mean maybe not have to but attach them with velcro and you can totally see it through the headlights im almost positive hes not a member but i dono it looks super hott from a distance but just buggs me that you can see the velcro through it

im gona feel like a total ass if he is on here

i say dont go for the headlight covers it looks weird
i personally love the way our taillights look stock, but the black is cool too.
paint the front bowtie black(or silver whatever) but leave it off of the back. it will look even better clean in the back.

rksport wing coolish, tc wing doesnt really go with the lines of the car, razzi wing- not sure,havent seen one in person lol, ss wing- i only ask one thing! get a rear lip/body kit first! it does look very ugly on a stock rear bumper, since its so high you gotta have something to even it out aka. rear lip to extend the bumper. heres an example:

did you install that razzi kit yourself? i have one in my garage i just dont know if i want to do it or get someone that does bodykits so they can melt the two together

 

Just do what you want to your car and to heck with everyone else. It's your car and your money, only immature jerks of the world are going to call rice. Everyone else will appreciate the money and effort you have into the car. Especially if the money and effort is your own.

i didnt do it, but i'm pretty sure you cant do it yourself, as it requires cutting to the stock bumpers

No ss.sc wing. also I had those headlights covers and they completely kill your light output. I had HIDs and when I put those covers it looked like I had walmart 10 dlls bulbs. No good.
