EDIT:
I searched it and it seems this is just how Gen 2 cutoff's are, is there a way I can fix this without taking headlight lens off. I just recently removed the lens to paint the inside of the projectos gloss black, would rathot not remove again, but i do want to fix the cutoff shield. I wonder if I can just remove the low beam housing from the back and scew in a piece of metal with a sharp cutoff to fix the flaring issue.

edit: fucked with the cutoff and it still sucks, i think i know how to fix it for hood but dont feel like taking the lights apart again. took way to long and my g/f hates me for ignoring her the 1st time i did it lmao. but heres some cell pics:

now doing this didnt really solve much as it seemed like the light itself was traveling to the left and the right of the cutoff shield. like the shield wasnt wide enough, so i cut a new piece of metal that extended the entire width. just didnt take pics of that. but after i did that and reinstalled, i still noticed the cutoff sucked. just put lights back together and said the hell with it now. I believe what the problem may be is that the cutoff shield is recessed too far back in the mount. You can see the little metal ring that houses the cutoff shield which is recessed and suspended about 1" back from the face of the metal ring. I think if I just put a piece of metal across the entire surface it would solve the problem, I dont know though, its just a guess, the bulb may be too long and hit it then, i dunno if anyone even know what im talking about. heres the new shitty cutoff line. dont believe the right bulb is in all the way, as you can see not as much light is projected there, and they need to be adjusted to the same height. but you get the idea

^and hopefully that random spot of light on the right is just b/c the bulb isnt adjusted properly in the housing. when my car gets back from service ill mess with it

finally looks like i fixed that god awful cutoff line by adjusting the low beam height, installing HID bulbs and making sure they sat properly in the housing. only thing is that little spec of light on the side, but its fine as its not blinding
