zomg SO CLOSE!!!!

Cant wait to flip these babies up. Of course I didnt want to use a brand that I had to cut through the fender wall near my tire and screw up my CAI.

Fricken sturdy doors, and bolt on too!

eh.... It will be ready tonight (8 hours). Complete bolt on, (no welding), no fender well cutting (but they did have to cut the back of the fender that u cant see for the hinge to fit, adjustable as hell (like 4 different screws to adjust the pitch, yaw, etc and no gap. Looks factory when closed, however they did have to shave about 2 cm off the hinge where it meets the frame. Overall looks nice. Ill post a video when my wife allows me to use her camera.

What it looks like when its not disassembled. Oh yea.... im still using the brush and have no issues to those of you a year ago who said brush scuffs paint up. Just dont be n00bie and brush your paint with dirt.

Think the hardware was 400.00 and some change. I dunno I can tell you when I pick it up. It was under 1000.00 though.

They did the passenger door "tight".Looks factory however they did shave the handles where they meet the frame. Ill let ya all know tonight. Im VERY impressed with these doors considering the horror stories I heard from our heavy 100 lbs + doors and a lambo kit.

So you're saying that the door kit cost 400 then the rest is the install cost?

I was the guinea pig so it was 400.00 + 500 install. I got them at cost. I may be able to get the guy to ship for 499 flat out (with ship) considering Im giving him business.

They did have to notch the wheel well and are fabricating a way to close the hole. Door is pretty nice however they asked if I wanted either the door wider and them shave the fender or it to look factory....and not have any fat friends I chose factory look on the outside. Why go practical when Im getting lambos?

I would not do this by yourself unless you have a means of shaving the hinge

I installed mine today, i ran out of time before having to go to work so only the passanger side is done, lol. I had the same wheel well problem with having to cut a hole for the hinge arm so im thinking of a way to fix that now, im thinking of bending a peice of sheet metal to go around it and paint it flat black and rivet it in. We did the one door in 3 hours and about 1.5 of it was spent adjusting everything. The other door should only take 2 hours now that we know how it all works and how to get everything apart quicker. Ill post pics after i do the other door.

Bought a piece of sheeted plastic on ebay with the same composite as the wheel well and partially melted+cemented it in. Dunno about riveting yet since thats what they suggested.

Had to shave the 2 teeth close to the frame for the door to not gap with wind noise. I may go back to stock in the fall though considering the hinge has a little buckle to our heavy doors when fully upright.

Teeth that appear closest to the frame (2 per hinge) Buckle means... when you raise it as high as it will go and shake the back end of the door in any direction the hinge bends to accomodate the weight of our door. IE: its not stock stiffness. Just grab the back end of the door and shake it horizontally or vertically and the hinge will bend a bit (not permanently).

These are the thickest and strongest hinges ive seen for our cars, however I may be a bit too picky for quality considering I dont mind paying 2-3k+ just for the hardware so it doesnt move.

The door isnt buckling, its just swaying. Its a really big door and no matter what you dont you wont eliminate it. The hinge has so many parts that move, your going to get a little sway. Theres nothing wrong with it. As far as shaving anything, all i had to do was roll the fender, cut the hole in the wheel well, unclip the wires from inside the door panel and pull them so they were longer, and bolt up the hinge. Other then that it was just a lot of adjusting, and then a few tack welds just to make me feel a little better.

here is mine.
theres more pics in my gallery.

looks sharp!

However, I ordered some aluminum blocks and going to attach the front of the hinge to the frame via the 1 inch block that allows the hinge to sway a bit. Im not impressed with the shop that did my doors and going to do it to my standards.
