remember, 800# is a starting point if you want to run tires that go outside of your fenders.
also, some of the road racing cars will get some front roll stiffness by going with HUGE spring rates in the back which is why they probably go with a 600# front spring which I think is ideal for both of cars for a good all around DD/AutoXr/HPDE car. I plan on getting a 600/800 coilovers setup. remember though, our rear suspension geometry is far different.
