So this sunday I there was an Autocross event that was pretty fun.

Yeah i was kinda surprised, I came in 5th out of 24 cars. 1st was a Lotus Elise (heh yeah, everyone saw that coming lol) 2nd was a little suped up 90-91 civic, 3rd was... i forget, 4th was a New Subaru STI (with a really experienced driver), then 5th Me In my Stock SS/TC.

I was only 3 seconds behind the lotus which kinda surprised me. He got 55 ish seconds and i got 58.8 seconds. there were like 3 or 4 other subaru's old and new STI's and WRX's that i beat, a Corvette, a 350z, an acura integra, mustangs, etc... I know some of that is no big woop, But i was just happy to give my cobalt a good name, and keep it in the top 5

fun fun......."autocross" ha ****** parkin lot with cones and low topend speeds. looked like a blast well done! I can't wait to get to an actual track though! :P

 

Good job. How many autocross events have you done with this car?

 

I've Been to 2 so far. 1 last year and 1 this year. The track was set up a bit better for the Boosted cars in the afternoon so i got a much better time and really pushed my car. Last year it wasnt really broken in as well and I was still more or less a noob at driving it, but this year was a different story i guess :P

Yeah totally, these cars are made for the track! I mean from the morning to the afternoon they just moved a couple pylons to make it a little bit easier flowing, and the difference was more speed and My car loved it lol.

Its true what they say in some reviews that these cars really behave better when they are being pushed to the limits.

But yeah i cant wait till I can hit the track, Anyone know of any in alberta? lol
