Autocross wheels and tires

Here are the autocross wheels and tires I just received last week.
They are Falken Azenis RT-615's 205/40R16.

The class I am in requires you to keep stock rim size. I am in street tire stock class.

i tried using 205/50/15s and had very little luck with them. theyre good for one or maybe two autox events and then they begin to harden very rapidly. goin back to hoosiers nest year.

Oops. I didn't realize you had the 2.2. I was thinking that there would be no way you would catch traction with those tire in the 2.0.

I'm going to use (allready on the car) my federal ss595 tires for autox when I get back...they were actually designed for road course, so we will see how they do.

What kind of wheels are those and how much do they weigh? I picked up some 15x7 Kosei K1's on closeout from tirerack.com...They are cast and shot peened so they should be strong enough for my style of driving. Mine weigh 13.5 lbs each which is pretty light, new tires will eventually come when my contitracs wear out. I can feel more feedback from the suspension with the lightened rollers. I saved 4 lbs per wheel, I can feel it in the handling quite a bit but also a little in acceleration.
