ESC electronic Stability Control

At the last three autocross events my ESC electronic Stability Control has shut my car down on course....pressing the button once turns traction control off, holding the button for 10 seconds turns off ESC, but ESC is still coming in, and bringing me to idle speed....
anyone else seen this...

I've had mine, even when off flash ESC trouble codes at autocross. But, never put me in limp mode or whatever that is. Weird.

fixed, maybe

well after a fourth event, where the esc shut me down, I took car to dealer, and they found a bullentin for the codes the car reported...bullentin talked about a chapped yellow cable, sure enough the mechanics found a bare yellow cable, shorting out the controls under engine torguing...will test car Sunday, hope it doesn't rain....problem would happen on right hand turns headed for the finish line on my fastest runs, till the esc shut me down....

found PIP4549A-inspect wiring at at purge solenoid, yellow wire was chaffed....
