Finally got the wife to come AutoX'ing!
And she goes and puts the Cobalt into the damned field!!!! 
But, like the trooper that she is, she went out and hit that corner even harder the next time and kept improving with every run!
Now I've got to try to get her out again... 
Doing a wicked Ken Block impersonation, drifting the FWD sedan... Check out the counter-steering! She's a natural!
And here we are taking a second to smell the wildflowers

After that run I decided that it was probably best if I let a little bit of air out of the rear tires so that that didn't happen again...

I am in the same boat! After 15 yrs my wife finaly did her first Solosprint event a few weeks back, came 7th out of 9 in her class... And now she is hooked.

Very nice. I am still working on getting my girlfriend to come out with me. For that matter I am still working on getting her to learn to drive stick halfway decently. Glad to see you resolved the trans issues.

My wife also drives with me, she has since I started. It is a great sport for the two of us.
Most importantly when you need to buy new thins for the car she can't argue then! haha

I really hope she keeps coming out. I had a blast riding with her and I can't wait until she throws the car around as well as I do.
