Got a love mark from a cone

I went autocrossing today and I had a blast. It was .8 miles and had elevation and camber changes....I got 20 runs in....I tried to get the rest of the Hampton Roads Cobalts out....but no luck, they missed out...
here is my first cone rub

and here's my favorite...

I got to see an Elise today, it was nice...Our times were .3 apart

also saw a 240SX drift car....omg...it didn't need to be out on the auto-x track, it spun the tires the entire .8 mile of the track. Probably one of the most interesting things around.

oh, and my favorite license plate

here is a video of the track....(right click and save as)Video

Nice catch! I didn't even notice that. Doc, your car says STS...the SS/SC should be in STX...

I thought it ran STS....hell, I read the entire book and street touring is all I found (with mods) the stock SS runs DS.....
whats in the STX class..?? (the other cars..)

actually, they didn't add my class....the results have me in AMX (whatever that is)
they couldn't count it since the Z-06 kicked up the pavement and they had to change the course.

What are the modifications to your car? From what I can tell in the photos, nothing readily apparent that would put you into STX.

Hope I don't do that when I race this year. Or maybe it just shows how hard you were racing

Again, badges of honor. Honesly if you DON'T hit a cone, you're not running as hard as you should.

I've got the extruded/honed exhaust manifold (sshhhh...), cat-back, front strut bar, lowering springs (they called them performance springs)

You can run whatever the hell you want to at an auto-x. Best one I've seen yet is an old school f150

Auto-x = 90% driver, 10% car. You're actually at an advantage to have a smaller, less powerful car. It's not uncommon to see Mini Cooper S's beat the crap out of other cars. Last year my best friend in her MCS had a faster time than a Viper. There's a point above which you no longer have "useable" power...
