Hey everyone,

Ice Racing in Wisconsin..... sure to be a fun event run on a frozen lake. This will be my first Ice Racing event in 3 years.... great for honing the skills. I'm going and am more than willing to give pointers, ride shotgun or you can ride shotgun w/ me. Snow tires recommended although there are some who run w/o. A helmet is needed.... great bunch to race with....

WAG=Wisconsin Autosports Group..... great guys, it will be a blast....

there is always a rally car or 2 there running custom studded tires

the last time I raced, a WRX beat the Mitsu Evo 4 rally car (got to ride shotgun in the EVO)

if i was in wisconsin i would be all over sittin shotty. that would be awesome.

How much is it? I might bring my car up to run it.

 

maybe $30... what snows you running?

 

Firestone Winterforce....no studs allowed in Illinois, but I can put some in them if I need to.

 

no those should be good for the ICE, the Winterforce have nice treadblock edges and should give you decent bite

if you had "V" rated snows you'd be at a real disavantage

 

wish we had ice racing here. All we have on the lake is ice fishing and snowmobiling.

 

What damn I want to race wish I can stay a bit longer to do it I had my practice on ice driving as I drove when the road froze over heading back to illinois so this would perfect them lol

 

so i forgot all about this lol (got real sick right before christmas) ,and its this sunday, whos all goin?? id go to watch but wouldnt be racing

 

Ice racing got cancelled cause a cobalt fell thru the ice lol jk

 

I was supposed to go but I picked up a freelance project that I need to do this weekend....
ya know, NO $$$ = NO RACING.......so, I am NOT GOING this weekend
