Indoor Karting

A vendor treated us to karting and dinner tonight. Popped on my coworker's helmet cam, which he uses for snowboarding.

Qualifying:

Catching traffic:

Not really a fair race since I got like once or twice a year to the place, but fun for everyone nonetheless.

We have the same thing here, F1 boston, I have yet to do it though. What do you mean it was unfair, it looked like you were passing a whole lot of people who could not pick a good line and had no pedal modualation

Few times in the winter a local place has about 75 of us out...pretty good time.

Now the karting out door road racing track is a blast (pro track)...has nice elivation changes and all. About a mile long track. Feels like your in F1 racing around on there with about 10 cars at a time. Has the rummble strips on the corners and all

I have plenty of time logged at that track, and I have racing experience, and have driven a shifter kart too. My coworkers have little experience with karting or racing. No contest this time.

F1 Boston's a cool place. It has elevation changes that mess with the noobs, too. We have a place here near Detroit, Kart 2 Kart, that's nice as well. It's twisty, but flat.

Cool videos. What did you use for a helmut cam?

For the Ontario guys, we are running in the Mini Indy series at Cameron Motorsports in Hamilton for points this year. It is outdoors though, rain or shine.

Great fun, here I qualified 2nd (no 2 cart) for the last feature and won.

I used a ContourHD. The 60 FPS version on my computer looks much better than the 30 FPS degraded version on youtube. It's a great helmet cam.
