I'm about to do my first autocross race this weekend. Just watching your video, I have to ask...how do you know where to go to stay on the "track?" I know you stay in the cones, but even then it looked like you could have gone other directions. I just don't want to be going the wrong way on the cone track when I go for the first time! lol

At legit autox event they will do a course walk before the racing, and this one they had a first timer course drive. I was worried about the same thing as this was my first time. If you don't spin out your cobalt you aren't trying hard enough

I hope they do that at the one I'm going to. I'm also going with a friend who has a SS/SC that has done it before, so he's going to help me out too. I'm pretty excited!

Haha it's a fun time! People are usually surprised when they see the times from a cobalt(as long as the driver is decent)

Hopefully I'm decent. I've never raced on a track before.

Haha you'll be using the clutch. But in that video I was in 2nd the whole time, one run I tried using 1st too and it slowed me down.

I'm just interested to see if I can actually make myself push my car a little bit. Without breaking anything, of course. Hopefully.

If I break anything, I'm a little screwed because it's my DD. But I don't see myself breaking anything if I'm stock.
