Scca solo nationals???

Anyone thinking about going? It is a blast, even if your in the back of the pack. It's amazing to see some of the cars and drivers that make it to this event.

I'm actually bone stock with another set of stock wheels with v710's. Only thing I have done is a alignment. DS is the smallest stock class other then AS. We only have 13 in the class. Now there are some really fast drivers and cars in the 13, but the class is still to small.

Anyways hope to see some more cobalts at future national events

Yeah I remember Brandon. He was talking to me about your car to

Well it looks like DS is up to 15 with 2 more days of early registration. There are 3 cobalt ss/tc, some mini's, a bmw 330 and 135, and some integra type r's

Check out sportscarmag.com for the latest issue of sports car mag. It has predictions of all the classes

Didn't find the predictions. But, unrelated I did stumble across this little gem of information.

"Street Touring: Section 14.10.D stipulates that downpipes may be replaced with alternate units that are emissions legal. A
divorced downpipe does not directly alter the internal wastegate bypass function, rather it alters the flow after the valve and
indirectly diverts less exhaust gas through the valve. 14.10.F states that the increased boost pressure is permitted from this
function.
"

So, we know your increasing boost with your downpipe and we encourage it. But, STILL won't allow open boost in ST. Jackass move guys.

Sorry /thread jack.

I ran STU with my STi and the same rules are in place. I had 2 tunes on my access port, one for all out power and one STU tune. They guy who tunes my car did an awesome job tuning it for STU, the car was amazing.

Just gota play by the rules

Yesterday was the end of early registration. Total at the event is 1170. There are 23 in DS with 5 cobalt ss/tc drivers. We will see if anymore sign up...but the the entry fee now doubled, I think this is pretty much going to be it.

I went last year and raced in DSP with my 09 SS. It was interesting. I'm not planning to attend this year, too many other things to do at that time.

Maybe next year... Have fun if you go...
