That is way more subtle than I was imagining. I like it

Requesting full side / front shot from a bit further away

Its not allowed to stick out too far because of SCCA rules but if your not racing you could stick it out more for the shock effect !!!!

Did you have to custom order a Cobalt version or is that just a splitter intended for a different car or are they universal ? lol

been waiting for this. looks a lot better than i was thinking it would. if only there was a way to extend the sides all the way back to the wheel well, that would look sick.

I looks like it could be a fairly easy DIY project to make one of those if you find a nice sheet of plastic that looks decent.

You could actually probably use the miata one you have to trace a template onto a piece of plastic and extend it all the way back to the wheel wells, and then mass market them on here for $75 a pop

It connects with nylon breakaway bolts so if you get a little overagressive at the track it will rip away without fn up the rest of the front end

The Track Dog Racing™ Air Splitter defends your car's end against scraping and cracking. The protective splitter slides over pavement with steep approach angles while your car's flexible urethane bumper or air dam flexes -- without scratching your paint. Made from 3/16" thick, high-impact ABS plastic and built to take a surprising amount of abuse.

If you look at the picture it extends out but is almost even with the front of the nose of the car. Our cars have a better aerodynamic shape and our lip is even with the nose . well almost

It says it's an air dam? more air to the intercooler orrrr?, it doesn't seem like it would be all that functional, just another thing to break.

What would you say the demensions of the front lip are? I am seriously thinking about ordering a sheet of abs plastic and cutting a custom splitter, sick of my front lip taking all this raping.

Ill measure it up tomorrow. Im taking my air dam off and putting a sheet of aluminum or stainless under the whole engine trans . This smooths out the air flow under the car and creates downforce. I saw it of one of the sites a cant remember where.
