VIR Grand East
Cut a 3:07.5. Car and Driver's pro guy ran it in 3:13 bone stock, which is phenomenal. I may have turned a few faster laps, but my camcorder ran out of battery
Not bad for a daily driven 4 door FWD car, with busted ass alignment. My camber bolts slipped. Guess the new FIA alligator curbing took a toll...
Video to come later today.

I'll post more later. BTW - I had a student with a Cobalt SS sedan! First Cobalt I've ever seen at the track, other than mine. Chris, if you're reading this, you did a great job.

First day. VIR Full. GT3 eats me alive near the end. I make up time in the uphill esses and south bend, but he walks me otherwise.

Weren't you above the 3:13 mark last time you ran grand east, what the hell did you do to drop that much time??
I can only imagine what that MR2 was thinking with 3 cars passing him like he's standing still. GT3....C5Z.....Cobalt.....wait WTF?? lol
Nice driving as always, sir.

3:13 was the only lap I knew of last year, and that was with a student in the car. Plus that was my first time on the Grand East config.
Really the biggest change was that it was the 2nd day I had seen the course. Yes, the mods helped, but not more than the driver mod Met Randy Pobst, who has got to be one of the nicest pro drivers in the business. Also got a few tips from him that I'll have to try the next time I'm there.

Great vid Wang, I truly enjoyed watching it. I will have to make it out there this coming year on the way to an autox so I can drive it. Love to follow ya and see how it's done.
