Check my post in the LSJ tech section. Long story short i slipped on ice in 15* weather, fumbled my wrench and it contacted the positive post in the fuse box and the body of the pcm. It gave me one hell of a zap so god only knows the extent of the damage to the pcm. I have no speedo, dash lit up like a christmas tree, etc.

 

Ouch.

I am going, i just dont know if I am dyno'ing, and or if I am even going in the cobalt. Nothing has changed until my new intake comes, so we shall see hopefully ill get all squared away by than, i just gotta manage my play money better haha.

try and find someone who is getting stage kit with a can tune and give them the $150 to cover the core charge for a pcm. Should work right, just have them send it to you rather then back to the vendor...

 

?? stage kits dont come with ecu's? (not sure about s3 lsj kits tho)

 

damn didn't look at the year, sorry. The SC stage kits give an option for a tuned ecu and you get charged a $150 core til you send urs back. Thought I came up with a solution

 

think he does have an lsj. In that case from what your telling me that could work. I dunno hte LSJ kits that well

 

Nope I'm technically an LAP. Im a 2.2 auto with vvt. Used computers don't exist for me.

 

I'm starting to learn them now that I have one but I still have ALOT to learn.

 

Just wondering if anyone is traveling a far enough distance to require spending the night in the area??? Put me down on the list also.

 

it's a 3-4 hour drive if i go. so long day, but not spending the night.
