The weekend of the 23rd is definitely better for me than the following weekend since I realised because of my BDay being the following Friday my family might want to see me and they might not be real impressed if I couldn't come .

I'll find some time next week to start coming up with ideas and hopefully Keith, Meagan and Jody have some as well. We should also try to get the rest of the Londoners out (right c7015 and Frenstall ) if they're interested since it might be easier for them not having to drive to TO as well as being on a Sunday so the guys working at Cami have more of a chance to get out.

Myself, I will probably come down on Saturday and stay the night at a hotel, make a weekend event out of it. LOL

 

I'd offer to let people stay here but the apartment would start to fill up after 2 or 3 people started piling in, might get a little cramped with 10+ .

well, she was incredibly hungover this morning so she's either sleeping again or she's out laying more rubber on the roads, flew by me tonight when i left London to head back to Stratford or maybe she's in Keith's driveway like she said, left her car there and took his for a "lil spin" LOL

well i'm up for the meet, i know Permafried is, dunno bout Keith but spread the word, were talking bout places to meet, Fanshawe possibly, and somewhere to eat

 

Fanshawe could be a last resort type of thing since it's quite a ways north from the 401...don't want to make you guys drive too far through the city if we don't have to . The advantage to Fanshawe is there are 4 large open lots which security doesn't patrol on Sunday and you don't have to pay for on the weekends. Since we're all fairly well spread out across London we should be able to come up with lots of options it's just a matter taking the time to go out and search.

I've also started considering places for lunch/dinner (I would assume lunch so you guys can all drive back at a decent time) but I've still got a while to consider everything and again we could discuss it with everyone else.

I had a great time today and it was cool to finally meet everyone and I'm really looking forward to the next meet!

We could do lunch but maybe something a lil later. We know what time we got up this morning Ryan to touch up our cars with some wash and gas and stuff and meet Keith. I'd assume if everyone who was there today from Toronto came, it would be a much larger group coming and therefore prolly not as fast as we came down to Toronto the 3 of us with a larger group. And like u said with no security we could shoot the **** for however long. Not to mention and i'm not jinxing the weather, but couple weeks from now at 10am or 11am in the morning might be a lil fresh, so i'm thinking like maybe a 2pm lunch thing would be good, all depending of course on everyone eles's commitment, maybe work that night or something but it's a thought

Well I am down for whatever. Like I said, I am going to come on saturday and stay the night, act like a tourist...LOL

 

The biggest advantage to having it earlier in the day is that everyone coming up won't have to worry about running into any heavy traffic both on the way up and when heading back home. The only major backup we had was around Cambridge because the right lane was closed but coming back we definitely hit some heavier traffic not only on the 410 but on the 401 until just past Guelph. I'd assume most don't really want to drive through that to get home after a long day . I'd like some feedback from those interested in coming down who have to make the trip in the morning what times would work the best for them but I think meeting around 10 or 11 again would work out well.

You can walk the entire downtown main strip in just under 15 minutes and that's if you're taking your sweet time (estimate may be slightly off since I only ever walk it after the bar ) but I would imagine we could really back that sucker up if we were to take a downtown cruise on the Sunday .

One of the reasons I had the last meet so early was for traffic reasons partly. I am always thinking ahead. Give me the name of a hotel that is somewhat central to everything and everyone so when the time comes, I can make reservations.
