So far, I count 23 People in total (including guests) providing everyone shows. When I call to make reservations on Friday, I will factor in a few people not showing up. I will tell them to reserve between 20 and 25 seats on Sunday. I assume most people showing up are over 19, if not, there will be Cola.. This will definitely be the biggest event of the year for the OCC with lots of HOT Hooters girls at our service. I am also going to try and get a photo op with some of our cars if time permits!

I'm trying to talk my dad into letting me borrow one of his digital cameras with multiple lenses as well as the video camera since I'll be passing through Stratford on Saturday but he's putting up one hell of a fight . I'm assuming others will be bringing cameras to the meet anyways but you can never have too many!

To be quite honest with everyone, I am little disappointed that some Cobalt owners will be bringing their "other" cars. The intention of this meet is to bring Ontario Cobalt onwers together. Guests are always welcome with their cars and if they happend to be Cobalts then even better!! However, if we are to represent the OCC, we should be showing up with our Cobalts. Am I way off base here???

 

I think when they say Guests, they mean they are coming with them in their Cobalts!

The only reason I am bringing the vette is because alot of people want to see it.

Sure, if that's ok with you then why not. You've done a terrific a job bringing these Cobalt owners together. The only reason we're getting together is because of the Cobalt nameplate. By bringing your SS/SC instead of your Vette I think you'd be leading by example. I'll see you all Sunday in MY Cobalt SS/SC!!!

 

Ya My "guest" is coming in my car with me, he wanted to bring his volkswagon golf 1.8T but i told him to keep it at home....

I guess when you put it that way the only reason we all know of eachother is due to the cars that we bought and we therefore settled on these forums. I also understand Jason bringing his Vette especially with everyone bugging him to bring it out time and time again . I'm not overly concerned with everyone bringing their Cobalts though I'd be pretty pissed off if only 2 or 3 of us showed up with Cobalts and the rest were everyone else's "other cars" after driving for two hours to get there . I am however really looking forward to meeting all of you and hanging out for a few hours...I just want the work week to be over and Sunday to get here!

This meet is purely a get together/shoot the ****/check out eachothers cars, then cruise back to Hooters for lunch around noon..

Everyone that has signed up to come HAS A COBALT, I am estimating there will be 15 to 20 Cobalts at the get together, My car and my friends being the only 2 vettes. The only reason I am bringing th vette is because I have a very short time left to enjoy crusing with it as it will be away for the winter, plus, alot of the people here want to see this bright white Pearl! I promise to park away from the Cobalt crowd so I wont interfere! LOL

Quite frankly I have no problem with vettes, or it coming, its the "daddy" of our car.. We are just the little babies....lol

 

OK, The reservations have been made. I decided to call today as it is rather a large group coming and they will need some time to prepare/schedule staff. I booked the Patio for a few reasons, first the weather is going to be great +25C, second, if people have to smoke, its not as intrusive on the non smokers since we will be sitting outside! They will have Extra Hooters staffed for OUR event.
