Ottawa What mods are you interested in?

Hi guy's and Girl's,

Can you post here what your interested in moding your SS/SC come this spring/summer.
Just want to collect it so we can shop and have a better deal on the same stuff we want.
We could start collecting quotes soon....

O.k I go first:

1. Eibach sportline springs +Installed and with 4 wheel balancing.
2. K&N or AEM Cold Air intake(prefer the AEM but its not released yet)
3. GM stage 2 + dealer installed

4.Magnaflow SS exhaust (maybe done next year)

So far just an intake for this kid. Maybe a set of Eibach pro springs. I was planning on stage 2 but I am not sure if it will fit into the budget this spring. I have a lot of stuff I want to do with the house, like put ona deck. We'll see

I'd go for the air intake too. If we're all getting one we should be able to get a deal...

Hahaha,

There are some "minor" gains to be had with the intake but I just want to get more air flowing and hear the supercharger a bit more. It's a quick and easy mod. There's some dyno posts around here which show that this car responds well to intakes (if installed properly..).

With that being said stage 2 is not a definate "No", I am just not banking on it. Spring is going to busy around the house so if I have money left over after my deck and stuff it's going into the car\garage\tools etc...

We missed ya yesterday... Sleeping a hangover off were we ? j/k

Yeah I dont know which type of CAI (Intake) to get. Fuj.. or K&N would be my choice. AEM isnt a bad solution either.

with the stage 2 kit....feeding in 3-4 more PSI of air into that engine you will need a performance air intake trust me.... on the exhaust side I think they only restriction is the header.....the exhaust system is 2.5" already...good for a least 300hp.

I heard the same thing about the header, and I think our ports are pretty tiny too.

Yes indeed they are......but for low end torque its great!! The velocity of the air travels fast in and out faster is good until you reach a certain horsepower but Im not going for more then 270HP-300HP max so we should be fine.

Do you know you can get a seat cover that's black and blue and it's a "flaming skull"? It's actually called "the blue flaming skull". Hilarious.

270-275wHp is what I am shooting for over the next couple summers. To me that's the perfect amount of hp... Also it's good to know the reason why we have small ports on our engine ! Is there a PDF of the Ecotec 2.0 from GM Performance?

There was a post made on the board about some guy who saw an SS wing on a Sunfire. Well, yesterday on Laurier, I saw a black Civic Si with an SS wing on it coming over from Hull. He looked at me and smiled while I hung my head in shame.. LOL
