It seems that some of the londoner's coming are still confused as to where they are meeting in london before they trek up to toronto. Use this thread to communicate with eachother and come to a meeting place before its left until the last minute.

Thanks Jason....this should work out a little better...I'm guessing my e-mail didn't get through last night to anyone .

After talking to Jody last night it sounds like the three of us that are up north/east could meet at the Timmy's at the corner of Adelaide and Huron. As for Keith I'm still waiting to hear back from him sometime tomorrow but he was 90% sure he'd be going unless something catastrophic came up. I suggested we meet him at the Flying J so he can take the 401E from the Whiteoaks area and it saves us all from having to back track as well as saving him from driving through the city.

I'm going to try to be at Timmy's by sometime around 7:00 and I'm searching for touchless washes that are open at that time of the morning because Jody and I wanted to run our cars through before heading out. He's definitely going to need to after driving to London from Stratford your car looks like a bug shield after making that drive...I have to do it after every single trip home. If we can't find one we can hit one on the way to TO if time permits, or we could all show up with our cars looking like hell .

Awesome man 8 sounds good! I'm hoping traffic won't be bad between 8 and 10 in the morning so hopefully the trip takes us two hours tops to get there. I should maybe print off some maps to bring with me on Sunday for all four of us in case we get seperated because if I remember correctly the turn-off to the 427S isn't marked up until the last minute. If I can't find a touchless wash open at 7/7:30 in the morning I'll just have to do it the night before and hope I don't wake up to dew all over my car in the morning...maybe I can bribe RCSS into opening slightly early .

These look to be the final plans as of Thursday morning but I'm not sure if Meagan has gotten a chance to look them over yet....once she does (and assuming she agrees) it looks like we're ready to go!

Can't wait for Sunday it's gonna be awesome !

Sorry every time I go to start posting a reply someone comes along and bothers me with questions. This is my third attempt! Guess I probably shouldn't turn around and tell them I'm busy with the forum window WIDE open on my desktop .

Glad to hear I won't be the only grumpy one I'm really not a morning person...of course my roommate probably won't be in much better shape he's going to a work party and will most likely come home blitzed as usual. We're all gonna look like the wrath of god when we show up in TO .

I'm sure between three of us we can't possibly forget to call...sticky note on my cell phone should do the trick! I'll be getting up at 6:00 (better set multiple alarms) so I should be awake enough by 6:30 to call and make some sort of sense. Where is the self service wash? If all else fails I'm sure we could manage to get there and down to the 401 in time to meet Keith, no more than a 30 minute job.

Oh ya, btw, which post were you replying to when you said "yeah so what??" ?

How in the hell did you manage to get banned from GTs...that is quite the accomplishment ! I'm not 100% sure what time I'll be back from Waterloo on Saturday night but if it's not ridiculously late I could give you a call. If it's too late there's no way of getting into the bar though it always ends up being an exciting evening of standing in line for an hour just to be crammed in like a sardine (though maybe I'm going to the wrong bars ). I'm going to have so much trouble going to sleep Saturday night between the excitement of Sunday and being a night person...if I get 3 hours I'll be lucky .

yeah i am the same way..
i stayed up so late last night HTMLing my new website.. which took forever..
now i am tired.. and i slept till 12... awesome. .

but yeah, i will prolly go to bed around 3:30-4:00am on saturday night/ sunday monring. so it will be awesome driving up there.. the 401 makes me so tired!

 

I feel so much more comfortable about you following my car down the 401 knowing that you're going to be exhausted . I told my roommate his only two jobs are keep cracking me if I start getting tired and be the navigator so I can concentrate on traffic...he knows the 427S cut-off well so I hope he can handle that much in the morning.

So since you're doing HTML do you have some sort of development background or do you know HTML only? I coulda saved you some time being a software developer !

i have been designing personal sites since i was 15 or 16.. i am in hte process of opening a new personal site that is half running rihg tnow. ubt if i gte stuck i wlil ask you.
i probably shouldnt try to html on a keyboard that sucks ass. they keys dont work half the time..

 

For sure if you ever need help just ask...I haven't touched HTML in 3 years or so but hoefully I've still got it stored somewhere in case I ever need it . Man I wish it was 4:30 already I've been ready to go home for the last two hours...looking forward to another night of relaxing and doing absolutely nothing .

Oh ya, I totally forgot that was this weekend. Sure I didn't go to Western but I've made a habit of going downtown every time because it always makes for one hell of a night. I think I'm glad I'm going to be out of town this time though trying to get anywhere during homecoming is a nitemare . Of course downtown will be packed Saturday night...should be a blast.
