Ok west enders, I do not see why we have to drive clear across the city to have a meet accomodating the east enders. As I mentioned, Myself, Player1, Playboy-Illest, ShaunK, JoeyCObalt etc are all west enders and I am sure there is more.

Guys lets talk in this thread and get a West end event going. It can be in Brampton, Mississauga, whereever.

I could do Mississauga? Say around the Collosis Movie theater near Square One Mall....I just feel that Hwy 400 at Wonderland is too far from Hamilton...we should accomadate everyone...including London..Colin

 

Square 1 should be pretty central for alot of people and I have no problem meeting there. Lets see what the other guys say.

I saw this type of thing as the JCO started to grow.
Its not meant to insult anybody. Its just simply to far for some people to drive.
That why in the JCO "regions" were created. Each region met at there own location and at there own time. This may be what happens here. Although its a little early to start this w/ the club being so small. But I understand.
Maybe we can ALL meet in the middle of these 2 meets somwhere?
Can someone think of a location. I~d really like to see one big meet instead of two smaller ones.

 

I don't want to start something here but Corby is right. 05BlackSS, I respect what you're trying to do but quite honestly, you are one of the newer members to sign on. The original owners who met in the past don't care where we meet JUST AS LONG AS WE DO. It's not about accomodating everyone, it's about who's willing to take the drive. Since most owners reside within the GTA, it's only fitting that the meets be central to GTA. We have guys coming from Ajax and Whitby which for the most part is the same drive from Burlington and Hamilton on the highway. I don't consider Brampton and Mississauga far away. But, it's all up to you. ninja44 already started a thread entitled "Next Meet" so I will continue to post more info within this thread. This is a very difficult situation to be in so at this point, whoever shows up, shows up I guess. Peace and I hope to see you guys on Monday.

New member or not, it doesn't matter. We go through the same thing over at Corvetteforum.com. If guys want to play fair. It should be one meet in the west end, one meet in the east end, or at least a more central location for both like etobicoke for example. There are some London, Hamilton, Mississauga, Milton members etc who would like a meet a little closer to home. At corvetteforum.com, yes, I am one of the more vocal members and due to that, I usually get things worked out for the better over there. As it is now, there are 3 of us meeting up every thursday night at the georgetown cruisers event and I hope that continues to grow..

I think the sherway area is a pretty good spot, I'm down for wherever whenever I GET my car. I'll even go to Maple once and a while for meet.

Could care less where the meet happens, I'll make the drive. The last spot as far as I know was Dufferin and 401, that not "central" enough for you? Miss. or Hamilton is less than 30 mins away easy. If it makes you feel more "equal" we'll do it in the west if you like

 

I am in for a west end meet as well, I would really like to meet the guys from Hamilton,Milton,Kitchener,London,Branford ect. I live in Burlington,I have made the drive to "Wonderland area" a couple of times and I honestly don't really mind ( I must be the only one who gets off on driving my car still . For those of you that have not made it out to one yet , it is worth it ! Not only to see a dozen or more Cobalts but to meet the owners. The ppl that I have met so far are awesome. I am going on Monday to see the guys again and while I am there I will ask some of them to show at something much closer for the rest of you. I would also suggest that a few of you try to show up and see what I am talking about. Again, I look forward to meeting with you guys either Monday or when ever you lock down a time/location in this area.

i'm new to the board. i'm a mustang guy, just picked up a 2006 cobalt SS non SC love the car, and want to meet up. kennedy commons??? i'll go just about where ever. skip'd my first statistics class to race some clown in a RSX... it was almost my first time pounding on the SS i'm really impressed. my only complaints is it seems the tires suck i wish they were a bit wider. and my rear decklid has horrible orange peel/fla. i'm cutting some eyelids for my car at my shop to see how they look. lets do a meet this week i'll go anywhere.

How does Sunday at 3PM work for everyone? Trinity COmmons Plaza in Brampton. The plaza is located right at the end of the 410 highway. We can meet in the parking lot in front of zellers, ALOT of parking there.

MIkeSS, it is this Sunday 11th. 3PM at the trinity commons plaza in Brampton. Take the 410 right until the very end, exit at bovaird. You can drive right through the intersection and it takes you into the mall, we will be gathering in front of the zellers (Lots of parking)
