Who has an SS in Calgary?

Or ANY Cobalt?

AND why haven't you taken it to Race City damnit!

There are lots of imports (okay and some domestics) you can beat up on. Lots of RSXs run mid 16's

I want to see the S/C SS run here. Lets see if you can drive!

you should take it before and get a baseline number. Then take it with your mods and see what you paid for. New cars always take awhile to show up at the track. I have yet to see a 05 Mustang GT run.

As soon i start my mods im going to get it dyno'd first and then at periodic times to see the increases. Im not a good enough driver for the track yet

I see lots of SRT-4s at Race City. What colur/mods doyou have? What are your times?
I saw a blue one witha stage 2 (?) package.

My "fun" car is a 74 Firebird Formula 400. I had it at Race City once this year.

I acheived a perfect reaction time too! Got a baseline time and am in the process of swapping the cam and intake manifold. Hopefully that and some carb/timing adjustments should makea big difference.

Might sell the car though and get a Cobalt SS

I have a red SS here in Calgary, but unfortunately I learnt how to drive a standard the day I drove it off of the lot a little over a month ago. So you won't be seeing me anytime soon at Race City, unless anyone knows a quick and easy way to teach me how to race with it, lol.

like others have said---hardest part is getting a good launch. Not bogging or excessive wheels spin. After that floor it to the redline and go through the gears as fast as you can shift.

I picked it up about a 6 weeks ago but ive been on vacation for 3 of them.. This was my first standard too... I'm getting the hang of it pretty good but i dont think ill be spinning the tires any time soon. Does anyone else's stick pop out of second when down shifting? mine does it all the time unless i make a notable effort to get it down.. the rest of the gears are almost effortless.
