2005 Cobalt SS (Durham/GTA AREA)

Ok.. I am thinking about selling my 05 Cobalt SS.... It's got alot of toys and add-ons.. I am looking for someone to take over my lease and hopefully get as little bit of money back on some of the stuff I got. I have enough stuff on the car to hopefully get some money back.. The car payments are $411/month on a 4 yr lease. The car has a 80,000/yr. Extended warrenty. The buy back in 4 years is only $10,000 which is really cheap compared to some other buy backs on other car.. Here is the info on the car

Car (stock)

Yellow with yellow interior inserts (stock leather)
17,650km
2.0L Supercharged Ecotec
18" Gunmetal rims
5 Speed
Sunroof
Sport Shocks and Struts
Big Spoiler
10" Pioneer Subwoofer with Pioneer System
Express Down Drivers Window
(for full specs check out www.gmcanada.com)

Extras

B&M Shifter ($250 part - 5-6 months old)
Eibach Sportlines ($650 installed... new in April)
RK Sport Fiberglass Hood (approx $850 painted yellow. New In April)
Compustar Remote Start/Alarm Pager Combo - ($1000 alarm.. New In April)
Winter Tires and Rims - ($1400... New This Winter)
Tire Storage Stand ($50. New This Winter)
Painted headlights (comes with spare stock set.. $200 worth for painted lights)

So as you can see I have invested in extras about $4500 worth of stuff.. I would like to see some money back.. I think about $4000 if fair.. Considering most of this stuff is new this month..

If you are interested.. Please don't hesitate to Email ME!!!! . You can also call me on my cell phone 905-999-0448. My name is Jonathan..

Please don't ruin my thread by bashing if you don't like it.. Then please keep your comments to yourself..

For pictures you can go

Thanks

I am just looking at offers....

I enjoy the car very much.. but I am hooked on trucks... Even tho fuel is killer. This car isn't the best either.. So I mean big deal I eat al ittle more fuel...

It's more just to get an 06 Truck.. (like a full size)

Are you selling the hood seperately? it's the 'SRT' like hood right?
How about the spare headlights?

BTW...was your father or someone driving it on the 401E around Brock on tuesday (or was it wednesday? )
It was a yellow SS S/C and the first thing I thought was it was your car, but there was an older guy driving it..weird.

Well if I can get someone to buy it.. Then I can sell the hood seperately possibly.. But I need a stock hood to replace it and get it painted... So I dunno if it would be worth it for me.. I would have to see how much it will cost me to do it that way..

No I wasn't driving it, I was in Michigan for work and my dad wasn't either. The one you saw Kyle was someone else that I keep seeing in the same area.. The first time I saw that old man driving it.. I was sitting in the McDonald's and saw it drive by... And from then on.. I keep seeing it lol..

We should meet up sometime tho..

FYI :

The stock GM hood from a dealer is about 259...

Depending on color paint/painting should only cost about 275... Just an estimate tho

Maybe less depending on color code...

I mean I do want a truck.. But when something happens or whatever.. I get pissed off and just want to get rid of it.. Like I hate having stuff go wrong and then get it fixed (even tho its under warrenty)...

I just get pissed off.. and makes me think I wanan get a truck or something

I completely understand....I'd frankly be very bummed about my car being in a fender bender....but the car looks so nice man!...
So would you sell the other stock headlights? I've been after a set to do what you did with the body colour (Though I'd never seen it until yours) but they are all very expensive from wreckers. If you will sell them, any pointers on how to do it?
Again the car looks great, I'd look into a 2nd car, like an older truck so you get the best of both worlds. Hell I drive a 1988 Buick Lesabre to and from work 5-6 days a week, sure saves kms and wear & tear on the car.

I'd keep it man...I have the same feelings sometimes with my Subaru. I have minor problems here and there but in the end its a love hate relationship but I'm sure ur like me and ends up lovin the car again. What are u goin to do with a truck? do u actually go off roading or need to haul alot of crap or do towing with it? Otherwise don't bother with a truck, ur just wasting more money on gas. Besides...its a pretty good deal what ur paying especially if u buy it bak. 10 grand is pretty cheap. Either way, good luck with it. Every car has its problems...I don't know any car that has no problems....that's unheard of.

Ya. for sure Mr.STI... It's a love hate ...

I want a truck cause I dunno.. I just like how big they are and higher off the ground.. I would do off-roading or buy a quad and use the truck to haul it around...

My car I guess doesn't **** me of that much.. Just little things here and there.. I am very picky.. What most people on here are happy about and don't complain.. I do.. Like the RKsport hood isn't a perfect fit but nobody else that has it is too worried.. I shouldn't be really cause it's not a huge deal.. But I dunnoo

But you are right.. One min you love it.. one min you hate ity.. I mean it's all nice and clean.. The 18s are shiny nice and the car is bright.. I think it looks sexy as ever. and fast.. Which makes me not wanna get rid of it.. I have a uncontrolled mind lol.. I am always changing my mind on everytine.. And it sucks lol.. Never fully know what I wanna do.

You live far away.. shipping will be a SOB...

It might not be worth it still by the time I pay shipping and such to have your hood shipped here..

Know what I mean
