Can you hook me up with SSKev? Heard he's one of the best tuners around for ecotecs...

Do any of you SSKEV tuned guys ever come out to meet? I got tuned by him and unfortunately my car hasn't been running well. He claims there's an issue with my car but I think its a BS excuse.

Anyways, I'm hoping to come out and get some more insight. Let me know.

I'd be down for this as I live in Milton. I've had my '07 LSJ for over 5 years now and just joined the community.

Well welcome to the forums! Are you planning on coming out tonight?

I was told recently about a group of guys SS Kev tuned having troubles, that has certainly not been my experience with SSKev. Hope you come out to talk about it, maybe there is more going on than I know

Oh and cruise talk tonight, no Krispy Kreme tonight lol

I recently had my LSJ tuned by SSKEV. About a month ago. ZZP stage 2, 3.0, 60#, w/belt. Already had ZZP midlength header/downpipe combo w/o tune. Car is running awesome! Def pulling a lot harder and just overall driving better. I did have to bleed my stock clutch as it didn't seem to be reacting well at high rpm shifts. But once I bled the system. All gravy. Knock on wood. Car just hit 233000 kms.

Car running great as of late. Needs a few odds and ends here and there, but in terms of my tune, I'm more than satisfied. Tuner recommended a new set of coil packs. She's pulling harder and blower spooling a lot quicker. May be in the market for a clutch in the not too distant future. I do plan on coming out tonight provided I get some things done today. What time do the boys and girls start showing up?

So the cruise is next Sunday for anyone interested in taking a drive through the escarpment in the Burlngton, Oakville Milton area. If you plan to attend we meet up at 2525 Hyde Park Gate Oakville next Sunday at 12:30 ( 403 & Dundas St.)
Try to be on time as we have to talk about our route, safety, and what to do if you get charged for stunt driving.....
That said we hope to leave at 1 and the cruise will take about an hour and a half. This is a fun event, come out meet some cobalt people and take a great drive

Are you running any cooling mods of just stock intercooler with the 3.0 and what's diameter is your downpipe 3" ??

I have zero cooling mods. I just make sure to check my IC pump every couple weeks to make sure she's still functional. We all know what a flop those are on the LSJ. If I decide to go any smaller with my pulley, then I'll definitely look at getting the dual pass and bigger IC. Downpipe is 2.5"

The cruise is less than one week away folks, have to do a slight alteration to the route due to construction but its going to be a great ride
sunday, Sunday SUNDAY 2525 Hyde Park Gate Oakville
The Cruise starts at 1, be there early for a brief chat about the cruise and some highlights, or you won't know where the tree is with all the kids bikes hanging there .....eerily ....... Anyways I'll be there for 12:30ish
There is a half way point should anyone get lost or run into issues I hope to see you Sunday

Agreed! Had a blast bud, thanks for arranging it! And thanks to all the other boys and girls for coming out too. That was a beauty route! I'd definitely be down for another Balt cruise before the end of the season. Just throwing it out there . See you next week.

My cousin has a civic and may join but let's get one set up. We went to Guelph lake which is really nice and tons of room to chill out and take pictures.

I'm the OP, I did set up a cruise. I gave everyone notice, set up a day, had a route planned and executed that plan.

You can try to set up a cruise anytime you want, I don't think you understand the work involved in setting something like this up It's not easy, lol. I was thinking of a spring cruise next year but that's all I'm going to do for this year.
