Hey, I've got a question for you guys in the area...
Anyone have tinted windows... specifically 20% all around? I want to get 20% when my balt arrives, but I know the law is 35 around here. Is the DRP prone to giving out tint tickets, or can I get away with 20% without getting any **** for it?

 

I wouldn't worry about DRP...

They care about catching people speeding or under the influence

 

True. Yeah, I've heard of several people locally who get 5 on the rears and 20 up front, so I assume if they haven't changed it they couldn't have gotten any/many tickets.
20 is plenty for me though. I'd like to be able to see out too :P

 

yea.. i wouldn't worry about drp pulling u over for tint. i don't know what % my tint is ( was installed before i bought the car) but it looks close to 20% and ive never been pulled over.

a friend of mine has 2.5 in the back and 5 in the front of a 4dr cavy and he never gets bothered for it

i plan on doing 5 out back and 15-20 up front in my balt

 

2.5?? That's nuts. How can he even see out? He might as well have got black vinyl
