I'm planning on ditching the SS wing and using the Pontiac trunk lid with the shaved inners. I have a few q's for everyone:
1: Do they have trunklids in Victory Red? or it just an SS specific colour?
2: Will Sedan trunks fit?
3: Anyone know where to get one

If anyone has any lines on a Pursuit trunklid with no wing in ANY colour please let me know. I used this: www.car-part.com to search with little luck.

I got a pursuit, and im almost positive that these things didn't come without a small spoiler like in my sig.

Cause I got the absolute base model and its there....maybe 06 is diff...I unno, good luck tho...

 

Spoilers are standard feature on the pursuit, unlike the cobalt it is an option. Can't find a Pursuit trunklid without the smaller spoiler, because it didn't exist.

 

the trunk lid you will need would have to be from a pursuit Coupe, not sedan. I dont know why you would want to switch out for the pursuit trunk because you will lose your second set of circular brake lights and your reverse lights because the reverse lights on the pursuit are on the bumper....plus the all Pursuits have a spoiler on the back to begin with

 

Well I can get the wing shaved if nescessary, so in that case the colour really doesn't matter.
I'm after a pursuit trunk lid because it would look different, I really need to PS it on the car to see if it's azz or not.

still not gonna have reverse lights anymore then...like i said they are on the lower bumper next to the license plate on the pursuits

If you traded trunk lids, you would need to figure out something for your reverse lights.

Well to be completely honest...I could care less about the reverse lights. The damn SS wing is more dangerous with the impeded view.
Anyone know of any places to start searching? As stated my only search engine is www.car-part.com

I have the Sedan Trunk off my Cobalt LS Sport, I'll trade that if you want

its got the low pro wing

 

i like the way this looks, but without reverse lights, it's not legal. also, then whoever trades would have to find a way to wire up the lights, or they would have two round nonfuntioning lights. also, if you go to a sedan trunk lid and don't have the lights on the trunk, you're going to get an annoying ass light on the dash and it's going to ding everytime you use the brakes or the turn signals, or when you turn the car on. it looks nice, but it's not practical.

Thanks for the input but lets try to get past it. I'm in Canada, I only need certification or 'inspection' if I sell the car. Besides I am not getting rid of my SS wing & trunk lid so it can be easily fixed.
I was more after people in Canada having any lines on a pursuit trunk lid in red with no wing. I now know that the sedans will not fit and all pursuits came with wings.
Does anyone know if Victory red is a colour that was exclusive to the cobalt and especially the SS?

imo the whole shaved inner thing up their w/ the SS looks weird. its way to open and nonthing their.

and reverse lights are over-rated. if you cant reverse w/o u suck at driving

 

reverse lights are so that stupid people don't cream you when you're backing out of a parking space etc.
