Bluelightning 01-01-2018 10:14 PM

Lmao!

slapbetcommissioner 01-01-2018 10:41 PM

Omg. I'm not at my best today

Bluelightning 01-02-2018 09:04 PM

Just get Tom to change it. He’s a Mod.

Soooo Dustin and I are headed to Cancun on the 28th!

slapbetcommissioner 01-02-2018 10:33 PM

Really bring in 2019. Or whatever year I believe it is after that lol.

tomj77 01-08-2018 07:37 PM

I fixed it. Lay off the drugs lol

I wish that was my problem lol.

You guys are all stuck in 2018 meanwhile I'm way ahead of you.

Bluelightning 01-08-2018 10:03 PM

So what are everyone’s Cobalt plans this year?

I wanna upgrade mine by driving it in to a pole and buy a Corvette

slapbetcommissioner 01-09-2018 04:58 AM

The pole mod sounds good. Put it back to stock first.

Z54 and a tune for me.
Inevitably followed by a clutch.

tomj77 01-09-2018 06:51 AM

Finish mine lol

cluelessk 01-09-2018 12:53 PM

I shouldn't of bought my car back. Is falling apart.

These cars don't like high mileage.

tomj77 01-09-2018 01:23 PM

What's falling apart on it

cluelessk 01-09-2018 08:41 PM

It's just an old car now. Rolled over 200k recently. Lost 5th. Starting to get weird electrical hiccups.

Oh wow that is old. Mine still at 125ish

Bluelightning 01-10-2018 07:24 PM

Holy crap Matt you’ve definitely put some miles on her! I remember when you bought it used and it had ultra low k on it lol.

cluelessk 01-10-2018 07:41 PM

Bought it June 6/12 with 19k kms. Didn't drive it for a year when I lost my license.

Commuting to RRC for ten months from Grunthal did a number. I was doing 130 kms one way 5 days a week.

Would probably get a different DD. Something cheap.

Then maybe use the Cobalt as project. It's a shitty daily.

Finish tune in spring, upgrade turbo. Realistically I care less and less about cars daily, gonna sell my 69 Corona in spring to make more room for bikes. Bought a Ducati Sport Classic 1000 to add to the collection in December so I'm probably gonna bankrupt myself doing routine maintenance on it anyways. Also have two vintage bike restos going simultaneously so I need all the shop space I can get.

DUI when I was 21. Driving two blocks home. Left a stop sign quickly for fun and got followed onto my driveway.

Thanks. Pm'd him. Now to pick up the trans. And see how hard it'd be to swap the gear set. I'd like to keep the lsd. Brother's s diesel tech and said he'd help.

Update-Made a deal. Getting it shipped to a parcel service.

slapbetcommissioner 01-12-2018 06:46 AM

Nice

yellow dragon 01-19-2018 01:49 PM

Yo! Checking in, still lurking!

cluelessk 01-19-2018 11:33 PM

Just bought coilovers. https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/part...lovers-325686/

My clunky struts are just making way too much noise and these are way cheaper than going OEM.

Nice. Should bring some life back to the car. Amazing how much freshening up suspension makes it more fun to drive again!

Bluelightning 01-30-2018 08:43 PM

Bought a new daily driver. After Cancun next weekend Dustin and I fly out on the 9th to drive it home. Gonna wanna blow my brains out lol. Hate road trips haha. But it makes me hate my Cobalt that much more Hahahahahaha.

slapbetcommissioner 01-31-2018 02:08 PM

I doubt he'll be conscious for the drive home.

Bluelightning 02-11-2018 10:29 PM

Well Dustin and I are back in Manitoba with my new daily driver! Cadillac ATS4. AWD, 320hp 3.6 V6, fully loaded performance trim. This car is sick as fuck.

cluelessk 02-11-2018 10:39 PM

Looks good.

slapbetcommissioner 02-13-2018 05:22 AM

Seriously awesome car! Well earned!

Bluelightning 02-13-2018 06:28 PM

Thanks Dustin :)

cluelessk 03-23-2018 07:40 PM

Bummer this place is so dead.

Seems like all the threads posted now are just young kids trying to fix basket case cars.

Started a new job this week at Birchwood Collision now. Have my coilovers ready to install but waiting till I've got some money so I can do the alignment and get my valves blasted and injectors serviced/cleaned.

Yeah it's too bad this forum has no life left. Spent and wasted allot of hours on here. Constant entertainment.

Good for you! Where is that birchwood collision located? By headingly or by regent?

Flatgod 03-24-2018 01:12 PM

Most tuner forums are dead. I'm part of a few motorcycle forums and they seam to be chugging along just fine but the demographic is a fair bit older. I think younger people FB everything now, older a little more drawn to the practicality of a forum for info sharing.

Bluelightning 04-05-2018 12:33 PM

I’ve tried so hard to sign up on the Cadillac forums. I just can’t do it! So full of useless info and idiots who know nothing other than keep it factory and take it to the dealership for issues.

Bluelightning 06-08-2018 10:09 PM

Z54 is currently going in to Slapbet’s Balt!

slapbetcommissioner 06-10-2018 10:37 AM

Slowly...
