I would like to point out that my one of my best runs was with Pablo. He ran 13.1 to my 14.2. a full second. I can tell you for sure he has better than stage 1 under that hood ...LOL.

the mustangs were not my best runs for the day lol and I still kicked them they barely ran 15's . the black was 15 flat and the white would have been beat by an LS or a 2.4 ss at a run of 16.67. The white mustang ran better later that day with a 15.5 to my second best 14.2. The red Nova or acadian was quick but my shifter fell apart there. I mis-shifterd to a 15.4 (still faster than the white mustang gt LOL).

All your races you should hear "What the hell is that noise?!" until you explained the turbo blow off.

You should also hear us say for most of snipes runs "%^@%$%^@ WHEEL HOP!!!!"

Also in the middle of that run he did with you i said "Wow it looks like Snipes's shifter broke again". Sure enough it did.

I am still quite impressed with the SRT4 considering it doesnt suffer wheel hop like we do

The thing is my car can get wheel hop just as bad on demand, I found that it's all up to the way I launch, that's why I looked like a granny off the line, I was honestly maybe 40% in the throttle that's it, and maybe 60-70% in 2nd. If I just hammer it in first I'll wheel hop like mad, and wheel hop breaks axles so I back out of the gas completely as soon as I sense the slightest bit.

Driving around the city, tryin to burn off what is left of my tires.. I only get wheel hop maybe 2-5% of the time. I defintally have lots of practice launches under my belt though.

I have tried it on new asphalt, (AWESOME FOR LAUNCHES, lol) old roads and everything. I dont really have a preference, except that new asphalt grips like a ****, but still no wheel hop.

sorry guys no pics tonight. the parts that i got to make traction bars were pretty bunk. They worked great for mocking them up though. The ball ends were just too tight. Time to return them tomorow and see if i can find anything better.

Launching on the street is not the same as launching at GIMILI. Why? They spray glue down on the track for the first 1/16 of a mile. especially at the start they spray it down at least three times in the day. I dont get any wheel hop on the street, but can get good amount of wheel hop at the track. actually I was trying to be on the edge of wheel hop last saturday. When I used the traction bars there was no wheel hop at all.

I am currently working on improving my launch by looking at RPM in gears and shift points I want to experiement with. I got a 2.18 by just being smoother and not quite as aggressive on the very first run. I maybe able to get 13's yet with the current setup.

It's not "glue" it's actually glue... They have a Quad that pulls a trailer with a huge jug filled with glue. They run it up the track every hour or so during the day. On the end of the trailer there are sprayers which coat the strip in glue.

i got my traction bars in tonight went for a little test rip and what a difference. I can now launch at 2500rpm and hook up and get no wheelhop at all. best money spent for these cars.

Yeah you really tossed me around like a rag doll. Well I found a solution though. when I win the lottery I will buy an ECOtec LSJ from Banks Power. They are selling a built LSJ that will support 325 to 450HP. You will never guess the price tag. I **** when he told me. $37,000. and they are selling.... to people building 4x4 rock buggies and dune buggies for the power to weight ratio.

LOL man do people have money. If I did that shoot me. I could had a V-8 (corvette) for that kind of money. (price is U$ remember...LOL)
