yah i noticed that too.. it is a bitch to bleed, there is a thread on it .. but larger is better anyways and i notice the small and large are the same price? thats weird. it only makes sense to get the larger one in that case.

i think i heard richard saying he was going to head out.

sigh..i found a exhaust leak..right before the tip of the muffler..my mechanic didnt weld it proberly..can this cause a decrease in power?

 

the tip is mostly cosmetic i think.. if you have a leak there I don't think it would decrease power. Might sound bad though.

I think as long as the leak is small and past the o2 sensor on the downpipe there is not much to worry about.. its usually when the leak is before the o2 sensor or when its a large leak that the car gets weird readings and then the ecu does magical stuff


Oh.. and to fix it, you could try and get the guy to weld it (obviously).. Or clamp it if you can.. I was a little skeptical of clamps at first but they worked perfect on my exhaust. I was under the car chaning the fuel filter and those stainless pipes are still looking sexy

 

i see where do i get these said clamps..

good question... probably part source would have exhaust clamps..

and the reason i suggested them was in case the guy who welded it wanted to charge like $50 to fix it or something... a clamp would be cheaper.

 

yeah this works out the best, cuz the dude who gave me the muffler+ welded it says i owe him..when i really dont..cuz i paid him for it 6 months prior to me getting it installed, so when he comes bitching about it ill just show him the leak and tell him to **** off...

just finished the passenger side of the car...got the back to go and the driver side...sigh..pics to come!
