There is nothing special about the LNF, all they did was turn up the boost. That's been done to turbo cars since they first came out a long time ago.
So it's better than our supercharged cars yes, but still nothing special as far as turbos go.
And with how easy it is to make close to 300 HP on the LNFs, we'll see soon enough if the tranny and axles and engine holds up.

So, whatever was wrong with my car has gotten worse.
I was driving along today nice and calmly in traffic... and all of a sudden i hear an extremely loud and high pitches screetching sound, so I immediately let off the gas. Upon doing so the sound goes away, so now I know it's from my car. I turn off the radio, and the AC, and hit the gas just a little bit. I can hear it clear as day.
The same sound I've been hearing for two months, only now it's amplified 10 fold, and happens under any light accel while making boost. I timed it exactly as soon as the boost needle breaks 0 the sound starts up.
On top of that, on the ride home from work today, I through a CEL. P0420 Catalyst System Low Efficiency ECM, PCM. Guess I was right about blowing out the Cat afterall. :P
Apparently we're not the only ones. My friend at work did the same thing last night

) Details!what a joke. I knew the cat was blown and now you got the code to prove it. Y is the dealer even letting you drive it around?? And tyhe reason for the cat going is from the GM stg 2 tune........I have logs to prove it as well..

Wow - can you believe that crap? I can't believe it isn't fixed yet. Dealerships seem to have an aversion to fixing problems! The dealership here is Saskatoon has my baby for a CEL - they say they need it for 3 or 4 days, b/c in 4 hours of test driving it, they can't find the problem........(WTF?!) They say that if I take it from them today, they will charge me for the time, and won't warranty the car in the future.
No wonder I get so nervous going to the dealership! Effing retards! Ryan, I can't believe that they won't just fix your car. It's obvious the blower is screwed-up and the cat is done. It blows my mind that they wont fix it. IS THERE A GOOD DEALER ANYWHERE?
