Kenny,
We were talkin about your tires a bit yesterday.
How wide are they? Are the 255s ?

Nah, I'm not. The comment was more towards the "don't think I'm going" part. Must be nice... ....to be able to decide when you go to work.

ryan, re-read what i posted, i am un-sure if i booked today off or not, meaning i have to phone in to see if i did...

i dont pick when i go to work, there are certian days i am "needed" and certian days i am "not needed" when i am "not needed" i dont have to come into work to save the company payroll or come into work and stock stuff

days i am needed, i have to come in. no questions asked, and i always have, i have called in sick once (that was with you ryan)

just so you got things straight k.

News to me. Just seems like every time you talk about work you mention "don't think i'm going in today" or something to that affect.

what alot of people dont relize is ive worked weekends for the last 3 years, only to get the odd saturday/sunday off...

where all the other staff get alternating weekends off, im always there because the optics guy made a deal to get weekends off...so i get the **** end of the stick.

theres only two people there that can work optics fluintly, me and that guy, we have to have odd-ended people fill in when one of us cant make it.

on the "not needed" days, i work the gun desk, and when they are understaffed i get called in

so basicly, my perminit schedual is thursday/friday nights (ive always worked those) saturdays and sunday, and whenever the gundesk is short staffed i have to come in.

because of this, i get the luxury of not coming in when all the positions are filled.

Well, Canon is one of the only companies that manufactures the lenses themselves, so that is the best brand name to stick with. Then you want the largest lense you can get to avoid grainy pictures in low light. And an SLR will be the best way to allow you to setup your photos. So a digital SLR Canon is my honest recommend.

PS: Nerd alert. "Page 404" "But it's working!"

slr are really expensive tho correct?

cannon is a good name brand, they make really good optics. so your sayng i want a bigger objective lense to increase low light situations? much like binoculars? lol

well thats not true, your pupil can only diliate to 5.1 MM or something like that

in optics terms, you divid you objective lense by magnifaction to equal your exit pupil

so for instance

take a 10x42 binocluar

10/42= 4.2 exit pupil

now take a 8x42

8/42= 5.25 exit pupil

its all math and forumulas on how much your eye can actualy translate into clarity, if course coatings on the lenses and such matters aswell.

But, on a camera the aperture controls how much light enters the lens. The higher the f stop, the more light=better low light

Yeah I recently picked up a Canon SX100IS and it's a fairly decent camera... but really sucks ***** in low light. Really wish I just bit the bullet and forked out a bit more for a dSLR, which I will end up buying anyways.

Yeah.. the source does sell cameras... don't think they sell the SLRs though

Nikon is an excellent brand as well... here is their entry level SLR that many people use and they picture quality is very good. http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...082555&catid=#
