so i just had a interesting conversation over texting with kenny that i feel everyone should know and hear.

i dont want to hear "take it to pms" this is a matter of everyone elses security.

so he texts me asking if we can meet up this weekend, i reply to him letting him know i am taking off my exhaust this weekend so i can swap it with andy's tho andy is being difficult to get in touch with, so if i dont end up selling it to him within the next week i am just going to sell it in my for sale thread to somone somewhere, so i can have your money kenny within a week and a bit.

he then tells me to grow up.

so i refresh his memory by telling him i explianed the situation to him about a month ago, saying how andy says he is buying my exhaust once he gets money nov 1st, so expect your money around then. then i refresh his memeory again when i tell him i offered to pay him cash the night i drove out to stonewall and got locked out of my car by his attempt to tune my car. then i let him know after his failed attempt to research the LE5 like i asked him to do previously, i got a sour taste about his tunes (and from what other "tuners" on this site told me about his style of tuning) so i decided to stop the tuning. (even tho it took him over 2 weeks to contact me to ask me if we could go "tuning" again).

the text i recvied from him now is great...it is as follows.

"no the real kicker is waht tune is on your car...wait till it gets cold out..you arent the first car i have tuned. youl either pay me or GM to reflash your car" -Kenny

now this really made me giggle inside..because not only did he threaten me, he also refers to him doing this to other cars...

so what this means is...when my car didnt let him upload a tune into my car, he somehow managed to upload a tune into my car that would somehow **** it up under cold conditions.

the REAL kicker to this is, after the "**** up" tune and having the car shut down, i took it to my friend who is a warranty rep at a certian chevy dealership and had the tech scan the computer for me , sure enough everything was fine. this was a few months back.

so at this point im prety much telling him that threatening me is low.

aswell..and jeff will contest to this...when kenny was wiring the wires to my wideband, he left two wires completly exposed.

kenny, this is to you...i was the first one to message you saying "i will not let a friend down and i will pay you, you have my word" i told you the situation, i told you i have to sell my stuff (as i am, and you know that since you trolled in my forsale thread...real mature) i told you the condition and you said it was fine. then your buddy wes decideds to contest me and bitch me out..he got ignored..i dont want that to happen to you. threatening me was very unacalled for and i feel hurt that you would do something like that...this whole experience has left a very sour taste in my mouth about your kenny. i have always been a man of my word and like i said i still plan to pay you when i get the money...most people after being threatened wouldnt give you the time of day, i am different and beleive in forgiveness for i am willing to give you a second chance.

be paitent, alot of people i have talked to have said i shouldnt give you **** all, but i will man up to what i said and give you the money i "owe" you when i sell my header/downpipe.

a remark to anyone who has been tuned by kenny, i would be carful, get your car checked out...because apparently he tunes cars to **** up in winter conditions so you have to come back to him and pay him more.

well jeff opted for a good idea.


i dont want to see kenny again, so ill be sending him the money thro paypal to shut him up and so i never have to see him again, because how he threatened me is rediculues, and who knows what that could turn into...

so jeff proposed i just send him the money on paypal...great idea...

jeff also offered to donate to my fund, since he knows i am a little tapped for cash right now till i sell my parts.

JP man, i didnt wanna get involved but obviously uve made this public... all im gonna say man is wow- seriously just pay him the money, i dont know what ur financial situation is like, but uve had to of come across a 100$ in the past month, instead of going for wings and beer or w/e i dunno i shud really stay out but dude... Well somehow I figured that this would get on here. First of all JP you have the stock file in your car. I wouldnt **** with people like that. Was it a low blow to say those things....well maybe.

Anyway how does anyone think that it is acceptable for me to receive nothing from JP?? Its not like I am making any money off of him I am just paying for the credits used to unlock his car. He came out here one night to get tuned and we encountered some probs with the car not taking the flash. It was a simple fix, do a write entire. It was then getting late and JP said that he would be out another day soon to finish tuning. Well that day never came. He then was on the fence to sell his stuff and not bother with it. I cant go around holding the guys hand waiting forever for him to come back out here. HE cancelled on me. All I want is $100 for the Credits used. I am not making any money off of him for my time i spent with him. First the story i got was sure I can pay you, then it was on Nov. 1 for sure i can pay you. And now i am told some story about how I have to wait for someone else to pay him so that i can get paid. Sorry JP but life doesnt work that way. I havve a house to pay for, car, phone bill, internet bill, credit cards, ect, ect, ect. I cant tell them to wait till Nov 1 to get paid now can i? so how is it fair for you to tell me that?? I think you need a serious lesson on budgeting.

To say i have no creditability is complete BS. Look at my car, I believe that I am the only turbo cobalt in MB and one of the handfull that have successfully converted to turbo in North America. And Jeff if i do recall that wideband has 2 grounds, one common and the other is for logging with HP tuners. They both dont get connected to chassis ground.
Also to blame me for shotty wiring is a joke, JP have you looked behind your A pillar? there is about 25 feet of extra wire in there, a foot of VAC line to no where and about 8 wire crimps. Maybe you should redo that using some solider and shrink wrap and the approprate length of wire.

Please please tell me what the other "tuners" said about me. Funny how they got their info as i have never posted a .hpt file on this site. Let alone a screenshot of a log. Also really never even have that many posts on here about tuning.

How.. how can you honestly defend your not paying him? Sure, as you continually try to beat into everyones head.. You didn't get anything out of it. Does anyone really care? Probably not. I know I don't. The fact remains that Kevin is OUT SOMETHING! He has put out HIS money, to give you what you call "nothing". Not only is that statement ignorant, it's down right insulting. By you saying you got nothing from Kevin, that is exactly the same thing as if you said Jeff gave you nothing when he donated money to your "cause".

And before you assume any point of view out of my comments, I am not simply defending Kevin. Was what he sent to you in those texts unbelievably ridiculous? Absolutely! Was it childish and disheartening? Most certainly. Does if affect his credibility as a reliable member of this community? Yes, it does. All things considered though, I can't really blame him. On top of that, it in no way justifies your handling of this situation either. I respect Kevin as well. He has helped me out a lot as well. Hell, he's one of the only reasons I ever got my car running properly again, and I couldn't be more greatfull for that.

Bottom line.. I think you should be greatfull that he has been so "understanding" of your situation up until this point. I know if I were in his shoes, I would have done something about it a lot earlier on, even it was a good friend who was ******* me around.

We get out of training at 4 with Rosalei. Although, that does explain why I always see your car when I leave, and not in the morning

first off , i'm not sure where this attack comes from?

for starters i never once said i new how to hook up a wideband ! ever !! unfortunatly the people that new how wanted nothing to do with it and helping him install it. to me a ground is a ground...common mistake,in essence...everything still works/worked fine

and shotty wiring...i got in his car to adjust something on a gauge...looked up in amazment.2 wires running from the pod across the windshield up to the mirror.looped around the mirror and down to the cupholder and collected on the floor with there ends exposed.....it took all of a second to open the door under the dash and run them all to there .

the vac line is not connected to anything cause we didnt know where to hook it to. well both gauges have 5 wires out of them... so there for they would heave 5 connectors. solder and shrink wrapp....did you even look at the connectors? they are shrink tubing with solder in them so ....it is done lol

i commend you on all that you have done with your car and others.you have done something that non of us will ever do or attempt to do and did a great job at it


i understand your side of this whole situation as well and i would be in the same boat.


i think everyone needs to bring it down a notch and remember we are all friends here.

its as simple as this kevin, i told you i can have your money around nov 1st when i sell my exhaust. for the last month and a bit i have been communicating with andy to sell it to him..i have called him each day and texted him and i have not been able to get ahold of him...great. so i started a forsale thread on here with all my **** (that you did troll in) and i have my wideband/pillar sold. look at that...looks like you get your money ON TIME!. regardless, you jumped to childish threats that left a very very sour taste in my mouth. this all wouldnt have happened if you would have just let me finish before you interupted me saying "man grow up". i have never once said i wouldnt pay you..not once at all. i have enough debt and school on my plate right now. and to tel me to budget more? say that when i only have enough time to work 30 hours every two weeks and didnt even get enough this payday to afford car payment...budget better? i have not boughten myself something since my camera that i put on a best buy credit card. i spend my money on food, gas and bills...that is all...ask my girlfriend the last time i have taken her out for dinner...so please..please..dont tell me how to run my life financly.
