okay first of all i embrace all people to mod their cars more then mine, dustins will be faster soon and i hope smooks is also.

secondaly, for the price to power of the BNR i personally (including a lot of others who mod LNF's) feel its not worth it at all. Its a great go-home bolt on experience, but at the end of the day you will feel like you got robbed.

On top of this, you are already upgrading your clutch, providing you have not already. you might as well spend the extra 500 dollars (if that) and just buy a turbo manifold and a better turbo. A lot of people are just scared to bolt on a different manifold but really its worth it in the long run.

If you just want mid level goals, do what dustin tc said and go cams and meth. i bet with cams meth and even a wheel upgrade you could see 380 whp.

just my 2 cents, im not going to type much since im on a laptop and im about to eat dinner.

if i hadent looked hard into the BNR option i would not voice my opinion on it like i am right now.

onnn another topic, i am burnt as ****. how about you guys? frost burnt? hahahaha.

also dustin sc, do you want to go to CED this year? im thinking of planning a trip. i only ask you and not the other because you seem the most interested in traveling for a cobalt meet haha, but if anyone else is interested let me know also.

Ok I appreciate the input on this guys but my next question is where would one get these camshafts? I have only seen the zzp ones and those are 699, so with that price plus a meth kit you looking at the same price roughly right?? And I don't have experience with cams so most likely would need a shop to put them in so there is more $$$.

And I would possibly be in for that meet, depends what my work schedule looks like

ZZP is the only ones I am aware of. You would have to make the choice of weather you want the upgrades fuel lobes or not. (of you ever plan on going much past 420-450 you would eventually need this.

The cost of that turbo is going to add up pretty fast
200+shipping to Bnr plus shipping from Bnr plus the cost of the modification. It's gonna be like 1500$ or more.

If you never plan on going more nuts do it!

But other mods leave unwasted room for more hp growth later

Well I just found some posts by a guy who has those zzp cams and it's seems they are more for building up your top end to prepare for a bigger turbo. He was saying that with an aggressive tune on E85 with the cams and full bolts he at around 350 ish whp. And the BNR stage 1 on pump gas is 380. So I dunno I'm more sold on the BNR, I have no desire to go bigger turbo especially on a DD cause I would still like some traction in winter lol

You mean you aren't supposed to shoot directly at the goalie?

You would be suprised! it actually helps to try and confuse him in some way in order to get the puck in the net!

A friend of a friend has recently started doing Hydrochloric graphic dipping. As far as i know he is the only local person who does it. Essentially you can have a pattern or design put onto a smooth surface IE a hood or rims or your dash trim or spoiler... The possibilities are endless. It is just as durable as paint and they can even make custom designs at an extra cost (an artist makes it and has rights to it so he gets a small royalty)

This is an example.

You can see all of the patterns at www DOT filmpatterns DOT com
I can email priceing if anyone is intrested. They can change the colors in the patterns as well. EX blue carbon fiber or something. I have more pics as well including a sled hood and the shroud of a airplane. also a console piece in blue carbon fiber. Just something neat to consider. I dont feel like uploading them all haha.
